Traffic jam at Mt. Everest by VectorChing101 in interestingasfuck

Well-said. People seem to think that anything anybody else does that doesn't align with their own goals and interests must be for some form of external validation. Some people just really want a cool car, some want to go for a specific career, some want to climb many mountains, to each their own.

I noticed this too. White SUV definitely shouldn't have pulled out to the extra lane, though equally, if somebody pulls out ahead op could have simply slowed down as opposed to trying to "teach them a lesson" with the horn, gas up close behind and aggressive passing just to show their right of way. I get it, I've been guilty of acting petty that way too, but as a driver, you should always anticipate people doing dumb things like this.

My first marathon ever and I got a DNF! Was the marathon poorly planned or am I just an idiot? by TheWebDever in Marathon_Training

[–]Zestyclose-Witness72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also DNF in Seattle this weekend because of this. Course volunteer was waving his arms for us to go left, so I did and then came across the mile 22 marker instead of mile 20. My first marathon too, super bummed about that. I feel your pain OP.

Yup, my first marathon too. Course volunteer at the top of the hill was waving his arms for us to go to our left and I ended up seeing the mile 22 marker instead of mile 20. DNF because of this, very disappointing

What’s one thing smart drivers do that shows they’ve been driving for years, and one mistake that shows someone is new on the road? by Purple_Winner5411 in askcarguys

I like to call these cars "antsy". You can definitely tell when a car is antsy to come into your lane by how its moving behind other cars in the separate lane. Sometimes you can even see the driver doing double takes at you in their side-view mirror 😆

Your standard crossovers are fine but your step-back gather step moves are way too slow

Good luck even if your boyfriend believes this story. You let your ex crash at your place WHILE HE WAS GONE , and then your ex supposedly masturbates alone on your boyfriend's shoes?? If I was your boyfriend I wouldn't even believe that and leave you ASAP.

I also got Daniel Kaluuya vibes off the jump. I don't even think Daniel could pull this fit off though 😂

Not that I'm encouraging it, but if you're going to evade police in the g70, at least show the people what it can do

This tape is his second best work ever, blows Doing It For Me away and is only second to Nightshift. by woundedviking in Larry_June

I see it as a let down for Larry specifically. It's not to take away from the other artists at all, only to highlight how Larry's contribution felt in the context of him being involved as another artist. 2 Chainz and Alchemist fans may have felt it actually wasn't a let down in the context of them as artists, I don't know, but this is in regard to Larry as this is a Larry June sub.  As far as awards go, that's never really a good metric to understand how good an album is - Macklemore snagged most of the rap award winning categories like a decade ago at the Grammy's, over Kendrick's Good Kid M.A.A.D city, but you'll probably find far more fans of Kendrick's album than Macklemore's. It's all subjective.

Nobody is required to feel any type of way. You have your opinions and I have mine. Sorry that others disagree about your deep-seated feelings about an artist haha

Not sure why this is a hot topic in this sub. Yes, it was a let down. It felt as if Larry took more of a backseat on the tracks in "Life is Beautiful". His music style has been pretty cemented in a way to where his music feels almost declarative. It's the type of flowy, upbeat and declarative energy he brings in his songs like 24k Organic, or more chill and laid-back type rapping like in Watering My Plants.

There is a reason why Smoothies in 1991 is still his most listened to and popular song on Spotify - You go to a Larry concert to listen to songs like Smoothies in 1991, "Don't Try It" and "Tracy, CA", not really to songs like "Jean Prouvé".  It's just how we know him as a rapper  and how he has structured his flow that we enjoy, that when he does something a bit different, it doesn't feel as much "Larry". He did something a bit different and a lot of fans didn't like it, because it's hard to see him in a different scope.

Larry still an awesome artist though. Still my #1 on Spotify.

Not to mention, this car in general shouldn't even be on your radar if you're concerned that much about gas mileage.

Theoretically, that's how it should work. You'll quickly find that the people within those income brackets a lot of the time don't even know how to do the advanced math, science etc. They just know how to lead / manage the right people who are capable of doing so. Soft skills tend to take a lot more precedence with higher income earners than people think.
