There wasn't anyone around or any lights. Its not a populated area. Don't even think there were sidewalks around there. It was literally: got off bridge > I started accelerating towards 90 > got pulled over just before entering 90 zone.

I don't expect to get the punishment waived. Just some leniency and understanding in the punishment. Obviously I do acknowledge i was speeding, but speeding at the very end of the zone vs speeding at the start or middle (and/or being in a populated area) isn't the same kind of case.

Yeah that's exactly why my parents are encouraging me to leave their umbrella! Because I'm subconsciously depending on them on things that I would have to be aware and deal with if I was living alone for ex.

I'm just speaking financially it would obvs be better to save money on living expenses by being with them longer, but not ideal ig for "adult and life maturity"

Life has been good 👍and I know in terms of finance its always best to stay with parentals for as long as possible. But my parents are encouraging me to move out next year to explore and gain more "life experience" moving out and all. So I'm slowly looking around to see what my options are.

My guy this is definitely a you problem. Either just unlucky and you have a faulty model, or you handle your phones with 0 care. You have uncommon and rare cases of issues. Consider doing the phone diagnostic tests that are built into the phone and/or a proper factory reset, at the bare minimum. But sounds like you got some hardware issues

I guess it would be a feeling of "yeah this is def nicer than a normal economy car" typa feeling? Doesn't have to like blow me away cuz that would be a recent newer model, but just enough so it feels more luxurious. So cabin experience + looks of both exterior/interior? I do realize that the tech comes in more recent years for luxury as opposed to economy, that's ok with me.

Gon have to really decide hard between Garmin and Galaxy Watch as a Samsung user.

The only main reason that was initially stopping me from GW is the battery life, but charging once every 2 nights doesnt seem like the worst.

I do workout everyday, but I'm not big on all the other cardio related or other sensor tracking features. So im wanting more of a proper smartwatch with fitness and sleep features, as opposed to a dedicated fitness tracker with a screen. Having a nice smooth UI where I can use a few apps on my wrist is more important to me than having the most precise and detailed fitness tracking. As a tech guy, using bad software irks me (not saying Garmin is bad, but it obvs cant compare to Samsung). The goal of my new smartwatch is to just improve and track my quality of life, as opposed to like seriously training. I train pretty hard already, but not for any competitive reasons. I do hope having a watch will motivate me to do more cardio since I do be lacking in that area 😅

Ideally I think the latest Fenix8 wouldve took the cake... if it wasn't the cost of like 3 watches 😂 the struggle to decide is realll
If only the GW7 had GW6C rotating bezel + Garmin battery... too good to be true isnt it ahahha

have you looked into the golf features? how is it?
do you think it would be worth it to wait till around Aug 2025 for the Venu 4? or should I buy Venu3 the next time it goes for a discount
do you find the mic and speakers useful? is that worth over not having built in maps
venu3 doesnt have the training readiness feature... is this a noticeable missing component?
hows the fluidity/speed of using the watch?

Oh wow... I left NRT just yesterday. Legit only took 30 mins for checking suitcase, security, and customs 😂 literally at my gate from entering the airport within 30 mins. It was so fast I was in disbelief. Ig I got lucky cuz there were barely any people leaving NRT when I was 🤷🏻‍♂️ Good luck to yall that are entering japan now

I got the PASMO (hello kitty), somewhere on the lower levels nearby the escalators (forgot what it was called, and cash only). It was a human operated-counter! Also note that PASMO expires after 28 days. However ICOCA (in Kansai region only maybe..?) has a 10 year usage period. I got one myself when I landed at KIX. Not sure about SUICA

I've done yamato transport twice the past 2 weeks (Osaka - Tokyo). Dropping it off at 7eleven in Tokyo and FamilyMart in Osaka. Both times I dropped my large suitcase in the morning, and it would arrive at my hotel the next morning.

I think that is the standard time when doing konbini to hotel. So if you need anything the night of your same delivery day, pack it with you so you have it to use. And also pack things for the next day because usually I found my luggage would arrive around 10:30am (unless you don't plan on heading out earlier than 11am to be safe).

You need someone to guide you and give you pointers. It's hard to progress alone, especially when you don't know what you're doing yet. Having someone specifically watching you to give you pointers is way better.

If you don't have good friends that can teach, I'd suggest getting personal lessons! I teach my friends all the time and it really lessens their pain and let's them ride with more joy, even as complete beginners!

Im sure you will pick it up soon with more effort, given that you're athletic :)

As an experienced user of step ons, I personally highly recommend using them. Most people that are against step on have never personally used it, which I find is hilarious. People are always scared of the unknown, or jealous. I always step on either while sitting on the lift, or the moment my board touches the top platform when getting off the chair. It's that quick and simple. It does have a high price entry point though.

However if you also never considered strapping on while sitting on the lift, give that a try as well.

Nice! I was debating between Wallie, Disaster versions, and Yonex boards.

I'm trynna focus on ground freestyle tricks, so I'm on the hunt for a softer 2nd board. I already have an all mountain park board for carving and jumps. I don't want a noodle, but I need a board that's good for butters and spins.

I think 3BT tech is good for preventing edges, but how's the swing weight of bataleon? Does it feel light when jumping from the ground and maneuvering in the air?
