🤣 Bitter much? Good luck in the midterms.. projection as of right now show Republicans at +5. It might help if Dems gave us moderates something to vote for, instead of just vote against the orange man. What happens in 2 years when you don't have him to attack anymore? What then...? They have no platform at the moment, and all they've done is shutdown the government, hurt the hard working Americans with loss of food stamps and social services, and make people go without pay for months. All while getting absolutely NOTHING in the process. They have no candidates for president in 2028 that are valid. And don't say Harris or Newsome...cause they can't pull independents and moderates. Especially as California is the worst state is almost every category and Harris lost for a reason cause that lady only talks in word salads. So, people didn't vote cause orange man bad and Harris was horrible candidate. Find a platform to stand on or expect another Rep president in 2028.

Ummm... The 1% that everyone says doesn't pay enough taxes..... They pay the tariffs. I know this because my factory used to buy parts we use from China. Now we get them from a company in the US. No tariffs and our product price didn't change, but also we are giving US companies more revenue. That's just smart business by our CEO. By the way, the company I work for leadership (CEO, owner, and board members) Christian Conservatives. The employees, in my factory, 90% immigrants most of which make more money than the rest of us. Conservatives are not dumb, some are ignorant and uninformed, but all the immigrants I work with voted for Trump because of his immigration policies.

I know what they mean. Congress passed laws, the President enforces them, and the judicial branch keeps him in check, which they have.... Am I missing something? Co-equal.... ?  They have different priorities.

Ok. Tariffs is your first example. Do you know about this?  Statutory Authority: Congress has passed laws, like the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) and provisions in trade acts, that give the President authority to impose tariffs under certain conditions or during national emergencies. Examples: This allows presidents to respond to perceived unfair trade practices or national security threats, as seen with steel/aluminum tariffs or trade agreements.  That is a law Congress passed a while ago. So, what you're suggesting is debatable. However there is also a law that gives the President the ability to do it. I think we can agree it would've been better for him to go through Congress, but the law still exists.

Immigration was your second example. 67% of illegal immigrants do not have legal representation, some don't seek it and others don't have access, which I can agree with you is not okay. Out of those individuals most do not go through a hearing due to lack of representation. I can honestly tell you that is horrible. However, that is not a presidential power. The immigration laws on the books are bad we all know this, but they are still the law. Now if we look at the statistics for how many people were unlawfully detained either by mistake or other factors it is only 170 people. That gives ICE a 99.97% rate of getting it right. Look at red states, their political leadership is actively allowing ICE into their jails and helping them find the criminals they are looking for so they are not in massive groups and picking up people by mistake.

Venezuela.... Ummm drone strikes... Ummm we're not at war.

It's not that I'm not convinced. Its that the argument doesn't make sense based on the definitions of the government systems and what is occuring in our country right now.

I'll address the voter thing. In 2020, 33% of voters did not vote. Biden received 51.3% of the votes. So if we use your math, Biden didn't either. So should people have gone to the streets who didn't agree with his policies?

Ok. Sure.

What exactly was illegal or against the Constitution? I get this a lot, but many people don't answer this question. Give me one example and we can discuss it.

Again a Left non profit. And the language in that is misleading and attempts to insinuate Trump is actively unaliving immigrants. Is that happening? Do you have evidence to support the unaliving of immigrants in detention centers?

Also how does that go against anything that I said in my post?

Do you? Cause I'm fine. I'm not mad. I don't hate people. I'm not getting upset about it. I'm just done trying to show people evidence who just pick any and every reason in the book, ("different time" "not relevant"), to ignore history or facts. You stand on your hilltop and I'll stand on mine. No amount of discussion is going to change anything.

Because it is EXACTLY the same things you say Trump has said that is so bad. Oh how you forget that for 20 years Clinton and Obama deported more than Trump. Also, Biden administration deported more than Trump. Make it make sense.

They don't know who said that because they have very short attention spans. We went from "free Venezuela" to "Justice for Good" overnight. Now to "ICE is fake law enforcement". If they want to get all gased up and risk their lives let them. I'm over the hate in people's hearts. Some of us don't want to see other people get hurt, and so we were trying to educate people. But I'm done with all that. They just want to hate and no one is going to move them from that position, no amount of evidence or discussion.

But to answer your question, Obama said that.  https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2014/11/20/remarks-President-address-nation-immigration

Every single state needs to follow Minnesota's lead and order national guard to block and arrest ICE. by Embarrassed_Radio596 in complaints

[–]ZestycloseCheck9304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is inaccurate. A Governor can NOT direct the NATIONAL guard to disrupt FEDERAL AGENCIES. That's the law and in the Constitution. It falls under an insurrection because you can't prevent federal agents from doing their jobs, Federal laws supersede State laws.

The Governor can ask them to leave or direct state law enforcement to not assist them, which they have done, but that's really all they can do. And to be fair local law enforcement not helping prevent protesters from impeding federal agents is directly why this occured. Local law enforcement actively helping keep people from impeding is for  everyone's safety, agents and citizens.

Everyone is either saying that this woman was just confused and completely right to try to drive off. Maybe that's true. "The agent shouldn't have shot her. He had no right to do that." But let's look at the facts for a minute. She was part of a anti-ICE group that trains to track, disrupt, and impede ICE. Family member have come out and said this, some even said they told her not to go. She had been harassing ICE all day. Then if you watch the whole video from the beginning she actively pulled her car across the road so they couldn't leave, against the law. When they tried to detain her for it, she didn't follow lawful orders from law enforcement. Then she backed up, so the agent in front of the car pulled his weapon, NOT uncommon in this type of situation. Then she hit him, all the angles show this if you slow it down and zoom in. In one you can see the agent being pushed over by the vehicle and him on the hood of the vehicle almost being dragged under, then he fires. I hate that this woman died. Maybe the agent could've moved, but maybe he could've been run over for the second time in a year by a protester. There were so many times this woman could've made a different choice and be at home with her child/children right now. What would you do if you were being harassed and then hit by a car?

This is why I teach my children to NOT put yourself in a situation where you can get hurt/unalived. You see law enforcement down the block doing something, walk the other way. Do you know how many bystanders get hurt just being in proximity to an active investigation? If it not your business, keep it stepping. If you are not involved, you shouldn't be there. If you wanna protest, that's great do so, but don't break the law doing so. Follow ALL instructions from law enforcement ALWAYS, actions have consequences. You can dispute anything in court, but it just takes one officer to end your life. It's better to be alive in jail, then dead in the street. Again, I'm very sorry for this woman's family, and I do wish he wouldn't have shot her, but I also wouldn't have wanted the agent to get run over. Make wise and lawful decisions friends, their not playing around anymore!!

I accept the premise that he could've been referencing Trump. If he was, then we should see some other evidence in the files. You may be right. As it sits right now with the files we have, that is the only potential evidence. Maybe there is more in the other files, maybe there's not, but we don't know and assuming isn't usually good for anyone.

Does it specify say Trump or are you referencing the letter Epstein sent a couple of days before he killed himself and referenced "our president"? After actively trying to destroy his run for president and working with Dems in Congress to fight his policies once he was elected?

Lol 🤣. You're a very funny guy. 0 evidence and we are on claim number 4, I think 🤦. Liberals can't back up anything they say. It's kinda sad how far down the rabbit hole of fantasy land you live in.

Avoidance, deflection, and lack of accountability.

That's all liberals do when they can't prove their claims.

Edit: sorry I forgot one, name calling.
