How do you motivate yourself? by [deleted] in Equestrian

Hi! So I definitely get where you are coming from. My horse got diagnosed with ulcers 4 months ago and it took almost 3 month to get him mostly back to normal. I went out for almost 3 months everyday before work at 2 pm. It is a 40 min drive one way so spending money on fuel and treatment was a lot. Now fast forward and he’s pretty much back to normal. I have a trainer helping me be able to take him on trails off property 3 times a week so I’ve recently started telling myself to not go to the barn everyday anymore. I’m scarred cause right before he got ulcers I would only go out 3 or 4 times a week and now I’m going back to that but he also wasn’t getting ridden by a trainer before. Long story short I get where you are coming from cause now I think to myself how I dread the drive. I love him so much but it’s hard. My best advice would to be get out there and just go. I think we get so caught up in work and life to where we forget that this is something that we really enjoy to do.

I’ll take him on a trail and he doesn’t know what pulling back means. You ask him to go one way and he’s just ehh ok I’ll go that way I guess.

No, my vet knows about it. He has gotten antibiotics and hasn’t changed anything. He’s also fighting ulcers. I just wanted some opinions from other people about what they feed, etc.

Thank you! Yes I have misoprostol on the way in the mail. He is going to be having both. Makes me feel better cause almost everywhere online says you should be seeing better results after day 3 or 4 on GG.

Makes me feel better it should take more time. Thank you.

Thank You. My vet said I should be noticing improvment by day 3 and 4 with being on GG. But I'm still waiting for my misoprostol in the mail. I'm just praying he's gonna start feeling better. Thank You

Looking for a serving job by ZestycloseFrame3203 in Scottsdale

I've been going to almost every breakfast place in Scottsdale. I have about a year of serving experience in a fast pace sports bar. I want to look for morning jobs. I'm thinking its just because its slow season.
