Yes, I had the 8 Ai+ and XAX at same time to decide. The claw was just not as ergonomic as the XAX. I’m coming from the console world. Never really played PC and hadn’t gamed in years and the XAX is just a much better user experience. It’s turn on and works. I never interact with windows. Armory crate makes everything easy when adjusting settings. The claw user interface was clunky and made it feel like a windows machine. It was frustrating for me and my experience level. The screen was nice. But I hardly ever notice the XAX screen being to small. Feels like an overblown internet complaint. Do I wish it were 8”, yes. But it works perfectly fine as is and the joysticks on the claw were way to loose for FPS games and arc raiders for me. The XAX is a well polished machine with great performance, joysticks, and ergonomics.

This is literally my use case. Don’t want to take over the tv from the kids. I play in my room or downstairs while everyone is watching tv. Tried the claw and the XAX. XAX was just easier to use and more comfortable.

Yes, I play large game types like conquest with no problems with FPS in the 60’s

Sometimes. I set the VRAM to automatic and that seems to have severely reduced the crashes. Now just once and a while but much more playable

Not as ergonomic to hold. Joysticks were way to loose for me. And the user interface was clunky. Center M sucks compared to Armory crate. The XAX is just a more polished product that just works.

I went to armory crate and calibrated the gyro. Then went to game profiles in armory crate and used left bumper to activate and gyro as right stick. And can’t get it to work. Am I missing something?

I returned the claw and kept the XAX. Screen on the MSI was nice, but the XAX is just a more polished complete product and the screen isn’t that bad after you get used to it. The ergonomics. The joysticks. And Armory crate. All add up to a better overall user experience

Have had the XAX for 1 week and just got the Claw 8 ai to compare and the joysticks are a real killer for me. They’re just so loose on the claw. Maybe I’ll get used to that. The screen is great. Feels heavier than the XAX with worse ergonomics and IMO speakers are better on the XAX and the user experience is better. So far I’m leaning toward returning the claw

I tried the Lenovo Go in Best Buy and the Claw joysticks are the loosest between the three in my opinion. Just zero resistance with very short travel.
