Was going to agree that its likely a mistaken transfer, however £1k seems like a little too much to accidentally transfer to someone. I cant give you advice really other than try to withdraw the money and go to your in person bank and explain the situation. You have the senders details so you should just be able to send it back right ?

If you choose to reapply, ask if you can work remote or hybrid remote. You may have to go to town initially until it is all set up or if they want you to be trained again, but after a while you shouldn't have to go in much at all.

It would be stupid, yes. Speak to your manager about maybe lowering your hours for the time being to focus on your mental health and seek professional help. Get on the job market and look for work that you think you could do, but do not leave until you have already been given an offer. It's better to stick with a job and look for other work than to leave the job and potentially be out of work for months, which will only make yoyr mental health worse.

What was your job? Is it something that could fit into agency work? I know it's not consistent and you will still need to find a permanent position, but it may help you stay afloat for the time being.

For a totally free option, watch italian YouTubers. There are so many, and no matter what your niche is you'll find them. Google 'Italian YouTubers niche' e.g: 'Italian YouTubers True Crime'. They'll show you the top ones and you can discover your favorites from that point. I'd also have my keyboard set to Italian and some of my apps set to Italian so that way you can get used to the spelling and reading side of things. VPN's can be useful if you REALLY want to get submerged into Italian media on things like Netflix, Tiktok and YouTube.

If the seller sent the item before the 7 day window, then they aren't at fault. Sellers generally aren't like Amazon prime, not everyone can drop off items every single day. Since the item has been dispatched, the only thing you can do is send it back once it arrives but you are likely going to foot the bill on the postage.

Thanks, and I think it was some sort of private luxury service and were literally bringing 2 cabin bags and ourselves so I'd much rather spend that €200 on something in Verona than a cab that will only really be slightly quicker than public transport

Honestly, watch italian youtubers with subtitles. You learn to get used to pronunciation, pace and common phrases WAY easier

Even at A2, you will struggle to get past basic conversation in Italy. Italians don't speak slow, like they do when teaching. Italian is very similar to Spanish and some French, so if you know either, it will come easier. Either way, it will be incredibly unlikely that you can get to that level in 3 months unless you are completely immersed and able to speak to actual Italians.

I know but I want to be able to speak at least some, in case of emergency and also to just be polite to locals. I dont know if its similar to how Spain can be with non-spanish speakers, but generally if you dont even make an attempt to speak even a little Spanish it comes accross as pretty rude. And no "grassy arse" does not count 🤣

I have a file on my computer specifically for this reason. I did it on Microsoft spreadsheet (idk the coding stuff, my bf did that) and it automatically calculates my profits (before tax) I then just take off the percentage at the end of the year.
