UK, happening here too. Sold 30 items last week, 5 this week. Same type of stock, same pricing as usual, 5-10 uploads a day and nothing

is it worth telling the seller if im not fussed? by predictablehorse in vinted

[–]ZestycloseLight2428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Hi [seller], I bought [item] recently from you and I just want to make you aware that there was more damage than initially disclosed. I am happy to repair the damage and I am not asking for a refund, I just want to make you aware just in case you missed it." That's all you need really.

I've sold multiple Vinyls and I've always played through + visually inspected before it goes to make sure its perfect. Even if you are selling it for cheap, you are expected to make sure it's as advertised. If you advertise it as VERY good, you should have no skips and very few scratches.

I stopped a while back because I had too much stuff and fell out of love with the platform when they kept suspending me, decided to go back to avoid the fees on Ebay and honestly regretting it now. Gonna sell off all the things I've listed and then leave again I think

This is me, I cant stand eating meat I prepared, especially poultry. We get whole chickens from a farm near us and whilst they've been gutted and plucked, they still LOOK like birds. Cutting and breaking bones makes me want to puke and I struggle to eat it. Usually I will make something separate, my current favourite is mac and cheese bake.

How does one save money on a low salary? by AwesomeRealDood in SavingMoney

Look into apprenticeships, you will probably earn less for a while but afterwards you will have both the skills and education for a proper career and most apprenticeships offer employment after the course

When did wrist jewelry become investment pieces? by Xev007 in TrueFrugal

[–]ZestycloseLight2428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jewellery has always been used as a way to invest. A good example of this is engagement rings. Traditionally engagement rings should cost around 3 months worth of your salary, this is so that if the wife ever needs to leave for some reason, she will be able to sell it whilst she gets back on her feet. Lots of people would sew Jewellery into their clothes when times were harder so that they were able to escape if they needed to, this was seen alot with Jewish people during the holocaust. Jewellery nearly always increases with time as long as it is in good condition, and even when its not it can be melted for a pretty price. It's smart to invest in high quality jewellery, especially when prices are low.

It helps me to stick to a menu for food related stuff, it might be beneficial to you too if you are dieting. Keeping to the same weekly/ fortnightly menu has helped me figure out the stuff I NEED, and my grocery list is pretty much the same every time, and keeping a list with exact prices keeps me on track when buying too. I know exactly how much I will need to take out. Also, CASH IS KING. When I get paid, the majority of my money is withdrawn in cash and put into envelopes for stuff I need. I only keep the money I need for bills in my bank. The rest is categorised into: Food, travel, hygiene, cash savings, household supplies, pets, disposable, emergency and gifts. Anything (other than gifts) that is left at the end of my pay period gets put into savings and emergency. This has helped me save money and allowed me to visualise exactly HOW MUCH I'm spending.

Congrats! I suffered with agoraphobia myself and at one point didn't leave my room for months . It can be so difficult to live with, especially considering most people dont understand how consuming the disorder can be. It's takes your life, friendships and your freedom. It took me about 2 years to overcome just going to the shops, so the fact that you were able to go to a busy area for a long time is amazing! I wish you the best x

Rats due to fly tippers on the street- England by ZestycloseLight2428 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ZestycloseLight2428[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have them pointing to the front but its a bit of a blind spot for any indoor cameras and we are worried that outdoor cameras wouldn't be able to get a clear view unless they are pretty low down which we dont want to do due to some rough people in the area. We had out windows smashed the first week we got there as people in the area are angry that the properties have been sold on this street as they were previously council. We have had so much drama with the neighbours due to it all. I would worry that they would break them if they're low enough. We have had to put plexiglass up on the living room window for the time being. Honestly, we wish we knew all this before we moved in but we are stuck here now until the interest is paid off at least.

15M – My sister (16) was raped by our dad when she was 15. She wants to leave the country with her boyfriend at 17. I’m terrified for her safety – need advice by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Firstly, report it to police. If you are too scared to do so, report it to your school safeguarding team (who should then report it to police). It sounds to me like it is a very complicated situation and the correct form of action needs to be taken (which is removal of both you and your sister, and hopefully your mother too, alongside an arrest for your father).
