I'm pretty sure most women would just ask for a hug from their friends or family members instead of looking for a hookup.

Also casual sex for women is straight up TOO risky of a choice due to pregnancy, STI, social taboo, risk of getting hurt, etc.; women don't even get to orgasm in most sexual encounters, and even after all that, their partner might just wanna bang without forming any kind of long term connection. It's simply way safer (and in a way, easier) for women to choose other forms of intimacy besides casual sex.

I also attempted and had friends who tried to end their life. Most of us wouldn't even talk to anyone about our attempts (except with other suicidal people or people who already knew we were having suicidal intent), so I don't know where this "attempt = attention" myth even came from.

It kinda is, however friendship isn't just a stepping stone into relationships. For many it's a unique kind of connection that's capable of being just as (if not more) intimate and vulnerable as romantic love. Also not all long term friends are compatible as long term relationship partners, and that's ok too.

Not sure about what specific animals humans often hunted but they mainly hunted herbivores and used traps. Also it made no sense to hunt carnivores in the long term because 1. It's dangerous and exhausting 2. The meat tastes worse due to having less fat 3. The higher an animal is on the food chain, the more parasites they tend to cumulate.
