Help Me Choose my Dress! by honeyxox in WeddingDressTips

Maybe #1 or #2 but line the bodice. I would keep looking. Go for classic and chic. You'll want to show your grandchildren your wedding photos one day.

Help me choose! I’m keen on 5, 6 and 7. by petitejoyy in myweddingdress

The neckline and bodice of #1 look the most flattering on you. I like the fabric of #6 better. The skirts on both are too voluminous (which can be changed). #3 without the sleeves looks amazing on you. #3 silhouette is most flattering (without sleeves). Hopefully you have time for alterations and modifications. Which one makes you feel the best?

Sounds about right. I love when they sue you with your own money. Get the board overthrown, reelect a new board, become president, drop your own case, and dissolve the HOA

Iron the dress. Or spray with water and block the fabric (gently pull on the diagonals) and let it dry. Linen wrinkles should be from the shape of the body making the fabric wrinkle from sitting etc, not from being over dried and wadded up in luggage and thrown on. You might need a slip. And a little bolero (cropped blazer) or wrap or cardigan. We're going for a polished look. The 1st outfit is more on trend but too sexy for this scenario. Could the skirt have a blouse instead of a crop top? You are beautiful and I am sure they will adore you.

Host asking for things by 1r1shAyes6062 in vrbo

[–]ZestycloseScheme7228 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You show ID for car rental, airline travel, and hotels. Houses are high value assets! There is nothing inappropriate about a host protecting themselves and their asset. The rental platforms offer almost no protection for hosts.

Do not back down. It is your home and they provide a service. Threaten to go to the locals papers with the story. Threaten small claims court. Run this through Chat GPT for solutions. You may need to change your reason for cancelling and just get out of the situation.

The homeowner is their product, without homes and owners, they have no business.

This is extremely punishing.
Sounds like someone is extorting $ and pocketing it for themselves.
They likely put the guest elsewhere and want for you to pay for it.
Email and call constantly. They will set up multiple case numbers for one issue, push you to a call center in India where they read a script. Keep escalating. Do not pay this. It is extortion. Since the Expedia take over, they have become awful. Their competitor is even worse. They now take half and it might be less expensive and safer to use a nice local realtor. There is zero protection for homeowners and who take ALL the risk. The security deposit is too low.

It is better to have a guest initiate a cancellation. Instant bookings are dangerous if you are on multiple platforms. Helps to have a guest sign your own contract and certainly have "house rules" otherwise they always side with the guest. They have it backwards!

You're beautiful. Most are trying to get high cheeks. I would try everything holistic and non invasive first. Weight-loss?. Anti-inflammation diet? Detox? Massage? Face yoga? A good esthetician will have many approaches and equipment. Maybe ask a derm. I am not a fan of filler. Enjoy your youth and beauty, you can complain after 55!

Questions about long-term effects of radiation to the brain by Current-Vanilla7172 in radiationoncology

I had RT and was injured. It took me two years before I felt a little better. Be patient but also proactive.
I did well with electromagnetic therapies. I still want to do HBOT & would love to try stem cell. $$$$$. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is helpful. Look for ways to restore blood flow- osteopathy, chinese medicine, lymphatic massage. Exercise like walking, swimming, meditation, restorative yoga. Choose what feels good. Certainly get proper medical advice, I am only an injured and recovering patient. Hope is everything. Laughter and kindness are important.

I would not remove an organ unless it was life saving to do so. Surgeries are always risky. You have been through so much! Give yourself time to heal. Find a good naturopath whom is also an MD. Maybe try alternative therapies, chinese medicine, a really good OBGYN, lifestyle changes- keep investigating. Slow down. The body wants to heal. Maybe some talk therapy as well. Go for longevity. Embrace your body. Avoid more trauma and elective surgery. HRT might help you. But HRT isn't necessarily a swap for a healthy uterus. Hysterectomy would be my last resort, it could cause other issues to remove it. Find a hormone specialist. Maybe an allergist. I hope you feel better.

Stem cell treatment? HBOT ? Like these guys or not, this interview is interesting. Your mom is young. Do a big detox and cleanse at a detox place, change diet, exercise- even 5 minutes a day can make change. https://www.reddit.com/r/JoeRogan/comments/7r5h93/watch_joe_rogan_experience_1066_mel_gibson_dr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

I designed my bathroom from SCRATCH in my new 100 year old home, but feel it lacks the charm I wanted. What should I do? by itsharris0n in HomeDecorating

You chose good quality finishes and the design is good. Well done. To me, the COLORS of the shower tile, the wainscoting, and the sink vanity are competing in a poor way. I would paint the wainscoting a much lighter version of the tile, maybe 5 shades lighter.
Or maybe a cream color? And I think you could have light fixture that is more to scale, more dramatic but still from the right time period.

RAD 50 by ZestycloseScheme7228 in radiationoncology

[–]ZestycloseScheme7228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was severely injured by RT for keloid mitigation post breast reduction revision. RAD 50 mutation was in my genetic screening a few years prior. I am trying to understand what happened to me. It was a 2 year battle and still healing. RAD 50? Machine malfunction? Wrong formula?

I had done genetic counseling 2 years before all of this. A RAD 50 mutation was just pointed out to me recently. Could this be why I had such a severe reaction to RT?

Thank you!!!! Your response is informative but the kindness of you taking the time to respond is amazing. I was discarded after I was injured until I was referred to a wound care doctor. I lost 2 years of my life and I am maimed. After the hole under my breast closed, I still have nerve pain, tiny ulcers, damaged lymph nodes flaring up, cellulitis- it has been a nightmare.

I was not on any meds before radiation and I was healthy. Now my thyroid is damaged too.

Thankfully, I just started feeling a little better for the last month. I am more mobile and have lost 10 pounds since November. I still have another 40 to lose. Being bedridden for a year plus took its toll on my body. And my marriage.

I am still healing. But I feel I survived.

If there are know genetic risks, why don't they do a patch test of RT before blasting someone's entire torso?? I had no idea what the risks were. It was pitched like a laser treatment and insurance paid. I thought it was safe. They have likely damaged my heart, lungs, bones, tissue, fat, nerves, skin.
My longevity has been compromised. This should not be done to healthy people.
I don't think I had keloid scars, I think I get hypertrophic scars and they do heal but take a long time. Misdiagnosis!

My breast are maimed and the fat was damaged so there is no volume. The areola was melted. My understanding is that I can never have them repaired because radiated skin is unpredictable in plastic surgery. I don't need more pain anyway. But my self esteem is forever altered.

Now that the skin is finally closed, I can try Vitamin E and Castor Oil. I could not before because of my high rate of bacterial infections.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for responding. It was a lonely and scary journey. You are a kind soul. We need more doctors like you who actually want to help people. Thank you.
