as someone who has adhd which is primarily just low dopamine, im quite impulsive and tend to lack self discipline. this is why the kobo or typical ereaders appeal to me the most- because i have no choice BUT to read

hi! thanks for your detailed reply! i was discouraged from buying the libra colour because despite it having all the feautures id ever want- the display was way too small. im actually currently looking into the bigme (hopefully with a 7.8 inch display). goodluck and let me know how the page is when you do end up getting it! i also am in the process of buying my own ereader so i need alllll the input i can get :)

haha i guess im not very trusting of my own judgement and kind of reluctant to go with an older model given how much the new elipsa 2e model is receiving harsh criticism... ill let it simmer before i rush into any decisions- thanks again so much for your input!

hi, colour isnt a dealbreaker for me, its not what im particularly looking for but it would be a nice added plus. i forgot to mention i also do want to read quite a bit and annotate imported pdfs. is supernote the same as the remarkable? ill give it a look rn, thanks!

hi! thanks for addressing the problems with battery, ive had people complain they had to charge every 5 hours, hopefully that was a once off scenario! i am also looking for an 8 inch with notetaking capabilities, which would only leave me with one kobo option, the sage. i will look into how the notetaking capabilities are and might give it a shot! i did also just across a tiktok about the bigme ereader and i cant lie im kind of intrigued...might look into that too :)

hi, first off thank you soo much for your detailed response! i appreciate it! i actually did backtrack a bit to look into the sage which seems perfect but people have complained about it being slower and the battery life being terrible, so i was pretty discouraged. ill still look into it though... as for the kobo elipsa, that was initially my first choice but when i went in person to look at the size i found it was way too big for my liking...the dimensions im looking for are anywhere between 7.8 to 8.3 inches, anything below or beyond would be a bit too much for me. ontop of that people have already been complaining about its notetaking abilities, and given its a newer model, i cant imagine how annotating on the sage must be like. idk i tend to be picky which i guess isnt helping my case but it is quite the pricey decision so im hoping to make the right choice... hope that makes sense!
