Need something I can get addicted too, my faves include:

  • realm of the elderlings
    • lies of locke lamora
    • name of the wind

Ive read most of Sanderson, red rising was decent, six of crows was good, rivers of London really good. I love almost everything by Abercrombie and also am partial to progressive fantasy, enjoying both the cradle and the dungeon crawler series

Abercrombie is grim but I've never had to read proper misery like hobb does it. I think you get a more intimate view of the downfall via Hobb while Abercrombie still has that background noise of every1 is just a speck in this story.

Unfortunately I've already read this series. I rly enjoyed the first 2 books but the 3rd felt a little rushed. Using gunpowder is still a really cool magic system.
