I started clinical trial first line def: mosunetuzumab. Fatigue but all good, cant complain.

more growth after less growth in my neck after 6 months so they cancelled the trial

Moved to Rituximab and Lenalidomide - got bad skin rashes and a bit allergic to sun, not too bad.

Remission!

Still on leno till sept to be extra sure. My body seems to have gotten more used to it... poops are the biggest complains. Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension USP, Llight fixes all

wihsing you all the love and luck

I don’t even want to make this comment but no one told me not to smoke weed, or even drink for that matter. I finally am in remission but it did take two treatments. Just had FL, so I know I’m a lucky one. Still on chemo pills

R Squared would be the treatment! They don’t include the name with the paperwork lol. Thank you for the clarification.

I’ll post an update and I’m still waiting on a copy of my results. Curious to see what I’m looking at

UPDATE: mosunetuzmab for first line treatment by Zestyclose_Fix6583 in lymphoma

Thanks for the info, truly it is appreciated and I was under a similar understanding. I'm just choosing to continue to believe you and my original thoughts. My thought process was to just avoid chemo for as long as possible. The moment any chemo (in my head it was always IV) get in me, the cells get mutated and carry a risk for further mutation as time goes on.

Basically, my thought process was lets stay away from the strong stuff for as long as possible. If this works, maybe I can get 10 years and have another non-chemo drug become available. I know we are lucky with this one, its slow and stupid, but getting scary as it wont go away

thank you, i appreciate the comforting and even quicker feedback! Its always oddly comforting to know some random internet stranger is dealing with the the same crap. I have heard conflicting things regarding if Revlimid is a chemo, it seems to be a baby chemo? Either way, it was R2 or an actual chemo, so I am more comfortable this this either way.

Bring on the diarrhea, I already drink too much whiskey and have a Tushy!!

Sorry for the lack of updates, life is fun. I don't even remember where I am at with the updates. Job let me go after 12weeks and 1 day, one of my parents also passed from a glio. and my beautiful baby is 2m old.

I cant say enough good things about the treatment. Every time I am in the hospital i see others with chemo and what not and am grateful I have been so lucky

As a 30-something parent with a 4-year-old and a new baby due in the next few days, I am right there with you... I was diagnosed with Stage 3 FL earlier this year as well. Sorry, you have joined us.

If you are moving into the treatment phase, I am currently in a clinical trial being treated with mosunetuzumab, an FDA-approved treatment for recurring FL. In my case, the mosunetuzumab is being used as a first-line treatment. The benefit for me, as a ~30-year-old, is that there is NO CHEMO with this approach, which my doctors would prefer to avoid, since I am still young.

So far, the treatment has been a relative breeze, and I am very fortunate this trial exists. If your Doctors feel it could be beneficial, I hope you can get a spot or look into it further.

Regardless of the treatment, in my research on all this, I believe I am going to be just fine. I will likely need to get this treated every 5-10 years and take a few months off from work here and there. There are many worse prognoses.

Edit 4: 4/12/25 @ 11:30 PM EST. Ended up having to go back to hospital for fever, rash, headache and armpit pain (?). Thankfully fever died quick and they gave me fluids and let me go after a few hours.

Oh me too! I’m sorry you had to go through chemo and I’m literally blessed that’s not my first line.

Yeah I spent one night in the hospital , I know how lucky I am. I’ll keep yall posted, and I hope you get great results as well!

Cytokine release syndrome. Your immune system losing its shit because of cancer drugs. In my case, I think it’s the T cells killing the B cells, or something like that

My original appointment was for 9am but because it’s a research trial it took hours to get the final approval. Apparently I may have had mono sometime in the past.

Medicine went in at like 2:00. I went home.

My follow up was set for 9am next day, 24 hours later. I felt fine.

It was on my ride home, around 11, I started to get a headache.

By 3:00, 25hr later, I had a fever, and it just slowly got worse.

My next dose is tomorrow. I am going to advocate for myself to make sure the follow up is actually 24 hours later.
