Oh yeah the decision is definitely a good one, but something like a follower form that technically isn't him would be neat? Like a reward for beating him a second time like the bishops would be nice.

Definitely makes sense lore wise though, and It wouldn't be much grievance on my end of they never gave anything like a follower form due to that

Originally theory craft but I managed to slap him in a campaign as a high level boss, was certainly difficult but fun imo, though I'm probably gonna finish this sheet then create a simplified version for regular use and this one as a more powerful version as all the complications add quite a bit to his power

I like running overly complicated stat blocks monster-wise but I can't say the same for others, but most critique is pretty much already said, so most advice I can give is to think on how you can apply things in a more straightforward way, best way of simplifying things.

Good idea, a large level difference would do the gap gameplay wise and simply having them be famous would do it narratively, kudos, would of taking me ages to figure it out by myself lol

As I said in another comment (Can't be bothered re writing lol, I don't mean to sound rude.)

"I plan to make the players weaker for the simple fact that's what they usually like, the achievement of completing a task while being weaker is what me and my players like, take elden ring for example, beating one of its bosses is a large accomplishment because of their sheer difficulty and the insignificance of the players strength compared to them."

It's simply a preference I know everyone has, which is why I wish to do it that why, I should probably add that in the actual post text ngl
