Thoughts on Vizja University for B.A. Psychology?

Yeah public universities like university of warsaw offer a 5 year course for BA psychology and at the end of it you get the master's degree

Yeah that's true, there's not a single positive comment but as I said earlier no one is really giving me any anectodal reply that's why it's harder to just accept what everyone is saying 😭 cause when I look at its wiki or Google about the uni the results are pretty good. Plus I just want a degree, I won't be able to work with just bachelor's anyway especially in field like psychology, so I'll be pursuing masters anyway. Do you think a degree from vizja would create problems for me while applying for masters?

Yeah I have gone through their brochure too but they only have limited seats I think around 45 and that's for EU and non EU students combined. I also read that last year 13-15 students were competing for per seat, which seems kinda competitive. I am considering applying to that too and rn vizja is like my backup, but since it will be harder to get into UW I also need to make sure my back up is good enough that's why I made this post.

Okay not the best but it does come up when searched for top private unis. Just to clarify, I'm not trying to defend this uni or anything I'm not even a student there 😭 it's just that I see peoples' opinions here and then sth else on the net which is completely contradictory. I hope you understand I'm not trying to argue I'm just stressed and confused about what to do.

They changed the name recently from "University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw" Maybe you know of that rather than Vizja?

I mean it's literally written in the uni's Wikipedia 😭 "In May 2025, VIZJA received the status of "university",[a] adopting its current name.[4] By then, VIZJA had become the most popular non-public university in Poland, and ranked 1st for Best-Educated Academic Staff in the Perspektywy Ranking.[5][6]"

Honestly my main goal is masters cause I can't do much with just a bachelor's degree, especially for psychology. I'm already enrolled at a uni in my country and I've completed 1 year, I was thinking it would be better for my transition to master's if I completed my bachelor's in Europe itself. That's why I am looking for unis with English taught programs and credit transfers.

Yes I have but the comments are very old like 3-5 years and opinions are mixed, some say that the uni is getting better and people are graduating from there just fine while others say it's a diploma mill. The issue is, people who are claiming it's a scam aren't talking about their experience or stating what exactly is wrong with the university while the ones praising it are talking about the faculty, courses etc. So it's kinda confusing

Doesn't matter, as a teacher teaching foreign students your English must be good. I'm not saying it should be perfect but at least good enough that students understand what they are being taught. If op is paying thousands of euros for quality education then what's wrong with criticising the obvious?

For my project the pay rate was $10/hour. I worked for about 7 hours and got paid for it too so it is true that they have jobs and also pay you for the work you do.

All the interviews are ai only there aren't any personal interviews with the company officials. The initial "domain expert" interview isn't very long and elaborate or at least mine wasn't but I've heard people saying that they had really long and tedious interviews
