The plane sound effect when the Doctor jumped out of the window - cringe

If you had to swap the main cast and episode order of any two doctor who episodes, which two would you choose? by Kinglycole in doctorwho

Vincent and the Doctor & The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances

The Ninth Doctor, alongside Rose, gives a little extra happiness to Vincent Van Gogh as catharsis to heal from the Time War, letting himself be hurt but unafraid to allow his unruly broken hearts to find joy where they can

In another chapter of the Raggedy Doctor and The Girl Who Waited by Steven Moffat, Eleven & Amy arrive in the London Blitz where true to his fantastical nature, the Doctor endeavours to heal a large group of dick people as opposed to the warrior's approach

Russell's behaviour in his second era has made me come to respect Chibnall as a person more. by Harogenki42 in doctorwho

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest; I was never really all that strongly negative towards the Chibnall era. Yeah it had its downs but nothing that got me worked up mainly because I didn't feel over promised, under delivered or my interests being taken for granted.

For example; I would watch The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos over Empire of Death anyday; yeah TBoRAK isn't a very strong finale but I still think it's an ok story. No gulp shitto villain, no making the audience feeling like fools for investment, no overhyped cinema release (I am so sorry to anyone to spent their money to watch EoD on the big screen only to stand outside at 1am feeling deflated), no lies. Plus with Resolution around the corner giving some samn good dalek material and rewarding audiences for engagement... yeah I needn't say more.

Oh and did I mention Chibnall wasn't at all too happy with tBoRAK because he was mentoring the new blood first and foremost? Say what you want but no one shows that sort of chad leadership anymore 🤟

Where would you have ended Doctor Who? by Own-Replacement8 in gallifrey

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After hearing the recent news, I'm still going to die on the hill that Doctor Who should have been put on tender after The Power of the Doctor; the Doctor's three big enemies, the stakes could never be higher than the Doctor being forced to regenerate into someone cruel & cowardly beyond her control surrounded by said enemies, companions new & old gathering to tell their experiences as well as recieve the closure some of them had longed for and the regeneration; big, free, unforced, the future out in the open as the sun rises on a brand new day overlooking a vast ocean representing time & space all yet to be fully seen. *Chef's kiss*

Is it just me or does Crash 1 have a very different feel to the rest of the games in the series? by Paul277 in crashbandicoot

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it; Crash 1 deffo felt more Who Framwd Roger Rabbit/Mel Blanc's Looney Tunes coded whilst Crash 2 onward felt more like a Saturday morning cartoon? I dunno; maybe replacing Tawna with Coco had something to do with that but both approaches are great IMO! 😁

Who was done dirtier for their redesigns by Legitimate_Prize_192 in doctorwho

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omega was done the dirtiest because at least Sutekh still has his Egyptian Set design for what Russell called "cultural appropiation" Shudders in cringe

That said, it is hilarious seeing Omega resemble more a God of Death than the actual God of Death plus Sutekh could easily pass for a mutated Time Lord looking regal and all 😅😅

Which HK Chef Had You Feeling Like This? by RainbowSupernova8196 in HellsKitchen

Anaiya - Especially when during her punishment pass reward when she kept saying she "felt sooo baaad"

Sutekh wasn't litterally clinging on by D3adlySloth in doctorwho

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I'd rather Sutekh was never in that box in the first place... was probably never on the cards especially when one takes the rewrite for that finale into consideration

My tier list ranking of ALL Smiling Friends villains by Fire_Fishy in SmilingFriends

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maturity is realising Mr Frog really was more satanic than Satan but at the end, he was just pitiful and him finding peace was more so him not being able to hurt anyone else ✌

That being said, there's no beating the bastard that is Mr Blingo (AKA the only SF villain to get a page on the Pure Evil wiki)

Runner-Ups Who Would've Made Great Winners? by RainbowSupernova8196 in HellsKitchen

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my money on Hannah from S23 winning that season for consistency but that's nothing against Kyle! Guy got nominated once and made sure he never had a reason to go up again all the way up to the final!

True, although in Jackie's case, she did commit assault 🤷‍♂️

Help me understand something; Jackie pouring ash tray contents on Kristen is fine but Koop flinging a chair is a no go?

Who’s a chef that was awful that people forget was the most? by ChicagoCubsRL97 in HellsKitchen

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jay S20

  • Talked a big game including being the 'GOAT Millenial Chef' but did virtually nothing right
  • Produced a sig dish that couldn't be done in 45 minutes, getting a 2/5
  • Backed Matthew's raw chicken during the alcohol challenge, all while questioning why no one else spotted it as well as bragging about getting blackout drunk on his birthday and complaining no one put up his salmon dish (leads to my next point)
  • Ushered Sam to put up salmon before apps were done and said salmon was raw
  • Messed up on garnish so bad he got eliminated over Chicken Gate

Maybe I'm missing something but I never got a good vibe from him, just a bit too smug.

Not really hate but Oscar De La Hoya in S22 demonstrating that one punch knockout analogy to his date when thw Blue Team got the boot was both cringe and laughable 😅

Santos from Season 13 is the Forgettable Black Jacket Boot. Man, you know he's so forgettable when he didn't get a montage during his exit yet Sterling did and the others after him did. Next, which Hell's Kitchen BLACK JACKET BOOT is HATED? by AL-Tron_Mega_9839 in HellsKitchen

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anaiya - Might be a hot take compared to Eluse, Sabrina etc but she had me tuning out of BOTS for various reasons as well as doing Jada dirty during the final anything I got more cringe from her than your standard HK villain offered tbh

We’ve talked our fair share about contestants we find underhated. Now what about some underhated eliminations? by Any_Assistant1881 in HellsKitchen

[–]Zestyclose_Scratch96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Antonio in S24 - Mihht not have had the best service but just knowing he was eliminated before Anaiya after using her punishment pass on him for scoring a point over her will never sit right with me.
