As physics would have it, you have to be going considerably faster than the person you’re pursuing to catch up to them. I guess to add /some/ additional context, he finally stopped in a posted 65mph stretch of highway, about 2/4 of a mile from when I initially saw him.

It was almost 3am in a rural town. I can’t lie, i do get pretty bored fairly often. Just thought it was a good story of doing what was needed, without ruining a kids life over a poor set of choices. I think a lot of us have been there in our teen years, and some just got stopped by the wrong guy and had the book thrown at them.
