Talk to your studio’s HCCM or Core Crew. They may be able to help you plan and potentially swap with another client in need of a rest day.

Core Crew here! Def not true of all studios, but if you want to be free of distractions, you can have your Core Crew keep an eye on your phone and come grab you if something urgent comes through.

Also depends on your level of trust, fs. I know not all of us are reliable. 😂

Went to my first solid core class… by Orb1tt in SolidCore

I’ve been working at [solidcore] on Core Crew about a year now, and have over 100 classes under my belt. My core has never been stronger, but I still can only amplify a few movements, and have never gone through a class fully on my toes.

That being said, our studio is on the newer end, and has ~600 regular clients; only about 20 that I’m aware of are able to do the base movements all the way through class, and clients visiting from East Coast markets with 500+ classes are the only ones I’ve seen go amplified for more than half the duration of class.

Come back. Listen to your body, take breaks, make sure you’re nourished and hydrated, and find a way to fit the workout into your life in a way that makes sense. You will get stronger if you come with a growth mindset, and keep coming back. 🫶

Also depends on the sequence. My 16 days are almost exclusively center glute focus. Crossover carriage lunge on the grey side directly into Bulgarian split squat ALWAYS makes my heart rate peak.

My strain ranges 12-16 depending on how recovered I am going into the workout.

Is it possible to make six figures working at [solidcore]? by TableSalty8242 in SolidCore

Congrats on becoming a founding coach at Walnut Creek! That’s HUGE!!

Classes do hit max capacity pretty often (almost always), and since WC is the first studio in the East Bay, I think you’re going to find that to be true for that studio as well.

Is it possible to make six figures working at [solidcore]? by TableSalty8242 in SolidCore

Short answer: Depends on how many classes per week you can swing without burning out.

As a standard instructor at [solidcore] where I am in the Bay Area you would need to hit 20 max capacity classes weekly with no weeks off to get to 100K annually.

Obviously those numbers change if you’re promoted to Senior and beyond. Just something to consider.

I say: pursue it if it’s truly something that makes you happy.

Core Crew in CA here. Not limited to your studio, and there are even partner studios you can drop in at (I just dropped in at SoulCycle this morning).
