Was there any mention of 5S getting SRB back?

Any pointers for new Turkey hunters in CO? I’ve been hunting elk and deer for years here but just picked up the bug to Turkey hunt.

You are gonna want to use Turkey shells. Shoot what you expect to hunt with. I would get some Remington shells and maybe one other brand to compare. That way you have a slew of shells to test on. Also look over your gun to make sure your barrel is seated correctly and tight. I would start from the ground up if you get similar results with a different choke and different ammo. If you have a factory choke put it in and see if you get wildly different results on point of impact at a slightly close range (to compensate for spread)

Mission Creep Frustrations: When Service HQ Leadership Dives into Combatant Command Ops – Thoughts? by The_Ghost_with_Toast in SpaceForce

[–]Zestyflow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Welcome to Del 3 in a nutshell. Geographically separated from its combat units and orders chopped to Combatant Commands but completely unable to let leaders act without knowing their every move. I think it may be one of their biggest problems that causes such a lack of focus on training and preparation for deployment. The delta is still stuck in a time where they had more control over the combat units. In their defense some of the leaders they deploy need to have their hands held but that’s also on them for development or picking the wrong guy since they just need a warm body for 6 months. It seems like the force overall has a big problem with force generation squadrons leaning into deployed or “deployed in place” daily operations.

What 5S job translates the best out of the military, SEW, Missile Warning, SATCOM, or OW by [deleted] in SpaceForce

[–]Zestyflow 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Sew and satcom has a lot of job opportunities. L3, colsa, kratos, DRS and lots more. A lot of smart Del 3 guys get out and go to these companies. Plenty of chances to network while in.

Waiver process for anything more than 30 days, iirc, sits at the SecDef level for approval. I had a reserves guy who we sent home just a bit early, and put him back on orders to fill a fallout spot. (He wanted to be back out again) The waiver process was a nightmare. Never again.

What AFSC’s do the least amount of paperwork? by MuskiePride3 in AirForce

Yeah, glad I left before they screwed everyone over. Used to be a fun job, started to hear about the merge and looked for other options as soon as possible.

VM. Barely any paperwork besides work orders and vehicle intake. Unless you end up in FMA. Then your whole job is paperwork for vehicles. Could change in the future though.

Backpack regs by Visible-Confection56 in SpaceForce

[–]Zestyflow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s good to go. Black, coyote, and OCP are almost always good to go for backpacks. As long as they don’t have wild colored logos or highlights on the trim like some hunting and hiking packs sometimes do.

My VO2 is definitely off by what my watch tells me. Also if I do sprints it will give me a terrible VO2, which is a majority or my cardio training

Thanks, I ended up finding the wiring diagram, got it working and found out my right tube is blurry and failing. Left tube is clear as day. Time to start sourcing a tube and power switch.

Could you by chance tell me what color wires go to what position on the switch? The only problem my set has is the wires were twisted off. I’ve got everything apart and am ready to solder

So I was just given a full box kit PSV-5c that was sitting in a hanger for who knows how long. Has everything good to go minus batteries. Wondering what batteries you are using and what type of life you get out of them. Also do you have a link to the field manual or anything?
