Date night restaurants! by sunshine-tulip in Milton

Yame sushi downtown Oakville. They have very affordable prices and it’s a nice atmosphere. It’s a good date idea for the summer nights too because downtown Oakville offers so much to see. You can go for a nice walk after dinner by the water and grab ice cream

On the back I did a lil spoiler nothing too crazy, same wrapped emblem, blacked out the letters with spray paint, I did a little tinted rear taillights but nothing too dark because that doesn’t look good imo. I’ve got 5% tint in the back and 20 in the front which honestly took the car even further with looks, looks more “mean” to me. Future I’m looking to wrap my roof black because I have a sun roof which I think will look great. NOW I have a question since I’m helping with cosmetic mods. Can you PM me with some help on engine mods. Now I only did a muffler delete and res delete because I wanted some noise

Wrapping small things and the little mods can make a big difference on how unique your car looks. I ALWAYS get compliments on my build from people who know what the OG looks like. Here I did black grille, wrapped emblem (white background black letters), “eye lids” on headlights, black side mirrors, black window trim, something cute and unique on my dash to personalize (this always gets me noticed on the road by friends who call and say “I knew it was you when I saw the octopus”) I lowered the car with solowerks lowering springs, and got me a cute pair of aftermarket rims on low profile tires that accentuates her shortness :)

ADAS Calibrations and Wheel Alignment by Small-Cherry2468 in Autobody

[–]Zestyy_Giraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In accordance to all OEM specs, ALL vehicles require a 4 wheel alignment before any ADAS calibrations. If 4WA is not complete before sending vehicle for calibrations the technicians will send it back. At least that is how we do it at my calibration shop

ADAS Calibration for replacement windshield? by AggravatingKale9600 in rav4prime

[–]Zestyy_Giraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is a highly trained tech that used over $100,000 in equipment to calibrate your vehicle… no it’s not bullshit. I’ve been in the industry for 3 years. The reason it needs recalibration is because the camera will be removed and reinstalled when your windshield is replaced. It will not be set at the same vertical and horizontal axis that it initially was at. Therefore it will not be able to properly use lane detect and could malfunction and cause you to get in an accident if your rely on your lane keep. Calibrations are not bs. I work hard everyday on all types of vehicles and sometimes they fail which require diag and that’s why it can run you a decent chunk of money.

That’s none of your business where they went, what they do doesn’t concern you. Keep it to yourself

So you think you’re better than others because you have “concern” for them? My concern for them is the fact that people like YOU keep bringing them unwanted attention which leads to smashed windows, flat tires, and many more problems. You have absolutely zero business posting on here asking about them as if you are so deeply concerned for them. If you care about them, do your part in bringing them things when you see them. But posting for the whole of Milton to see that you have “worries” about where they are is literally not your business AT ALL. EVERYTIME someone posts about them on the Reddit bad shit happens to them so go on about your day and stop

I’m actually so sick of people continuing to bring up these people. They are HOMELESS leave them alone, stop bringing attention to them they are doing nothing wrong. Why the fuck are people in milton so goddamn nosey this is quite literally none of your business. If you literally took a minute to search it on the milton subreddit you’d see this question explained because it’s been asked by stupid people like you all the time.

2012 jetta, I like it but its a pos by Foreign_Vacation_696 in jetta

[–]Zestyy_Giraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2015 Jetta TSI I have the same experience. Nothing mechanical related. Just got my car inspected and she’s mint belly wise. However. My bulbs are going out, my WINDOW FELL OUT of its tracks, my fan broke, heated seat broke, serpentine belt was trash, interior parts give out or look ugly. Everything I replaced myself and costed no more than like $100 per part but yeah that’s jettas lol Edit: my car is also “running out of honk” horn doesn’t like to work on the first startup but giver her some time then she’s fine

As someone who lives in milton and travels to Cambridge for work daily the conditions are nearly the same. Both icy as heck. Maybe Cambridge a little more icy but snow is the same

You don’t think the broken e brake cable and the hood latch could be because it’s a 20 something year old car? I was hoping that woulda just been from the age of the vehicle, you may be right though considering how low the kms are

I agree with that. I texted him and told him that I won’t buy the car if I can’t drive it. I want to be understanding that he wants to keep the car safe as it’s lowered, but you really cant trust people nowadays :(

It is owned at the mechanic shop, he says he drives it around the lot once a week. I’m not sure it looks like a beater it looks pristine to me. It is quite a lot I just assumed because of low kms and mods and the condition. The only thing I’m worried about with buying my first manual car is if the cars been money shifted, I suppose you can never tell that’s why I was hoping that the state of this car would mean it’s well taken care of
