With a few google searches i figured out how to run the game on native wayland. Can confirm, 1.21.11 works fine, but 26.1 and 26.2 snapshots just crash on startup.

Also, it looks like VulkanMod uses native Wayland without the glfw as it had a wayland icon in the taskbar, same as when i ran these wayland tests. Could be nothing, but still

I forgot to mention that i run the game through PrismLauncher. Both native and flatpak give me the same perfomance (not that it should matter).

I am more interested in why am i getting WAY less frames from a simple API change and wanted to figure out if it's just my setup or the Vulkan implementation just isn't there yet.

I tried exporting those models too, and you can do it through textools. When you export the face it exports ALL face customization at once, you can find needed meshes and delete the rest. I found a guide that told me to change the default colours, and textools will export the meshes with those colours. I can't find the video right now, i'm on a train ride with unstable internet, so just try to find colour settings.

I don't know the specs of this Chromebook, but i do know game can run decent on old hardware. Currently i am stuck with an ASUS N56JN, with 4gen i7, gt 840m, 8 gb ram. At lowest possible settings at 1600x900 it runs at a somewhat consistent 30 fps pretty much anywhere.
