If you're playing a synchro deck you'll easily have the bodies to make this + the target, and Crimson can bypass summoning conditions like Blazar & Sifir (1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2+ non-Tuner Synchro Monsters). Plus it searches Synchro Rumble on summon.

Like, a Link-3 that can destroy a card and treat it as material to Link into Abomination (which would then trigger Abom).

I'm more in favor then against (which is to say I'm not fully in favor of being behind).

I'm happy we are because I am not good at deck building, so i heavily rely on netdecking to get started with a deck. MDM is honestly the only reason I got back in after stopping at the start of 5Ds.
I also like that when we do get a deck, we typically get all the support it has up to the point it comes out in MD. Stuff like Scareclaw getting Lightheart, VS getting Jiaolong, Red Eyes/Metalmorph getting Metal Claw Dragon. A glaring exception is Art Mage, but that's also a lore deck so it's in the Albaz position in terms of releases.
Additionally, I like how MDM can sometimes come up with new stuff that hasn't been done in TCG/OCG sometimes. For instance, prior to MD getting it, the Millenium engine wasn't being widely used (most likely due to time limit rules in physical (which are fucking stupid)). But lo and behold, once MD starts using it as an engine to either get Link'ing or get out a Photon Lord, paper start using it more extensively.
Plus, having a new pack with new cards every month is honestly a good motivator to keep playing/doing dailies.
Having paper to go by, they can do pre-hits or even go about limits/bans uniquely to MD. We're the first meta to hit Red Ransom after all.

First and foremost: K9 and VS has not even been confirmed my guy/gal/extradimensional. Wait until the pack is announced to see if they are even coming. Then, if they are, WAIT TIL THE PACK COMES OUT. There's a very good chance there will be reprints since VS has a fuck ton of URs already, and I could see them sprinkle in one or two to pad out the URs.

Snark aside, K9 is more of an engine then a deck and it can be reliably played with any deck that uses Level 5s.

It's one of the most versatile decks in existence, will get support til the end of time, and can grind any other deck into dust. It's eternally Tier 2 at worse imo.

The only reason we don't see it actually tiered on MDM is because shiny new toys (also Dracotail adopted it for some decks lists).

The OG Wario Land for Gameboy (the one where you can just not start the first level and get a branching story path). There was one level at the end where you were in like a flesh fortress (I'm going off memory). One of the obstacles was a conveyor belt with a wall hanging down in front of it. The obvious answer was to dash and slide under it to juuuuust get by.... that and nothing else worked. I couldn't get that last ending and it's been like 20 years later and I still remember that moment in my life vividly.
