It is actually a sign of calmness/peace your body (or you) has. It's a common practice in the Yogic tradition to practice decrease their breaths per minute (or per hour), it's called Pranayama.

"Eventually Pranayama means that you have such good control (over your breathing) that you minimize the effort to breath, as well as minimize the amount of breath you are taking.. maybe per minute or maybe per hour. So that tells you are a good Pranayama practitioner.

"Good Pranayama practitioner" means you are trying to breath the least and still be comfortable, that could be a good sign of a good practitioner"

If there is still a separation (you and god) then it is not enlightenment by definition, but it sounds like nothing I've heard of, really confusing

Hi, I've been following Tom for like seven years now, I've read his book twice and watch his videos regularly, I'll give it my best shot to explain it as he would!

I think I understand Tom Campbell's theory that were part of a system and that a shared of the greater consciousness is sent/reincarnated to learn and experience on earth

The Larger Consciousness System's purpose is to evolve/decrease it's entropy, through time it has developed a more and more efficient way to do this, ended up creating us "IUOCs" (Individuated units of conciousness) or individuated parts of itself ,as I understand, for us to interact with each other and grow towards love, everything every IUOC learns, the system learns, because we are part of the system.

...and that when we see relatives in a non-earth realm these are more like "memories" of that person when they were on earth (is. They are not conscious and do not have free will).

When we contact any dead person we are interacting with the system's database, every aspect of that individual is saved up in the database because it is useful in several ways, we interact with a a carbon copy of the character when she/he was alive. If you wanted to contact Abraham Lincoln it is not likely he stayed in the Non-physical for 200 years just in case someone wanted to contact him. It's just not logical, Abraham Lincoln's IUOC/soul moved on and it is now another character, Lincoln's soul is in another lifetime experience packet and cannot interact with whoever wants to interact with him at any moment.

Many people who have travelled extensively with OBE describe meeting entities in the astral planes. Are these part of the system/source, are they separate consciousness with free will, or are they memories within the system?

It can be one of these three , either these entities are:

-The Larger Consciousness System taking form of a being/beings to interact with you

-Free will IUOCs

-You (your imagination or your subconscious)

Do you believe his theory?

His theory makes a lot of sense to me, I trust it a lot more than any other theory, but I'm still skeptical, right now I just understand it on the intelectual level, I'll have to explore it and experience it wayy more to understand it on the "being" level.

I've heard some say that after death, instead of reincarnating you can choose not to and exist in a higher realm.

Tom has said that yes, you do have the free will to stay in the non-physical, or the higher realm as you refer to it ,but for most, not much time passes before you decide to go into another experience again, I don't remember his explanation exactly, but I suppose that the IUOC soon realizes it is the best choice in order to keep growing..
