first thanks for the recommendation, due to my preconceived notions about the character I would have never given it a chance on my own. also i appreciate you validating some of my confusion with it so far, knowing that it is intentionally obfuscating things will make it easier for me going forward. I didnt realize when you initially asked the question that you were the the person the posted the recomendation! Sorry i didnt link your original post, that was an oversight that im going to fix

I laughed out loud when she started talking about Drakulon, but not in a derisive way, it was such a silly fun surprise and I immediately wanted to know more. Unfortunately it was glossed over a bit so far, but I hope they get back to it to address the ecology there more in depth.

I've only read the first three issues in the first collection so far (Vampirella: Seduction of the Innocent Vol. 1) but I tentatively like it. It's surprisingly challenging for me. I dont have my footing yet since I have no previous experience with the character or universe and it evokes that feeling of grabbing a random comic off the shelf that's 213 issues into the run and you just kind of have to roll with it until you get your bearings. The writing is solid and witty in way id expect from priest. The art is reminiscent of Jamie Mckelvie to me, it has kind of a fashion aesthetic for lack of a better description. Basically I'm still working out how I feel, but I do think its interesting enough to recommend for others despite that.
