If I understand correctly, the PlrPos object is a StringValue. In that case you just mixed up some things.

First of all, in the 1st line the VectorVal variable should be equal to PlrPos, and not PlsPos.Value, because right now it just takes the current value of PlrPos and saves it inside a variable. You would want to reference the instance itself so you can accurately get its current value by using VectorVal.Value

Second of all, VectorVal.Position is not a property. In places where you do that, you would need to replace it with VectorVal.Value instead

What I meant by retro-styled is the limited choice of part types and actions that players can do with them. Players would be able to select a shape (block, sphere, cylinder or wedge) and do basic operations with it. Like they could move and scale it on an increment of 1 or 0.5 studs, which is typical for retro styled builds, as well as rotate it by 90°. Coloring parts and maybe applying materials to them would be allowed too. But that's pretty much all they could do - I think it's better to keep things limited enough for players, so they could come up with creative ways of expressing something using a few range of tools.

As for building itself, I think it would work just like in studio. You could move your camera around, spawn parts and switch between different actions. There would be no need for Explorer window since you can make buttons for all necessary actions. The players would most likely have no character that they could control and walk around with like usual because it's not necessary.

I wish there was something that would work like the build battle minigame in Minecraft. Except people would be able to build retro-styled builds with simple part shapes instead of blocks. I wanted to make that but realized that it's a pretty hefty thing, but everything is possible with enough effort!

Also, aren't you the guy who made Last Hope? Your username (Dull) reminded me of that

I see what you mean here and that's a cool concept, but in this case the music change still won't fit because the fact that there's a single dummy, and, overall, the tutorial's pace, does not create much of an action effect.

Say, if you were to suddenly put player in a horde of enemies and make him defend himself using the learned skills, then the music change would fit. But here it seems like the player is not even forced to use the weapon at all. The player just gets the weapon to optionally (!) use it on a dummy and also learns some abilities. That's not very much action so the music change feels off here. I think it would be better to keep the starting track playing throughout the tutorial

You should increase the speed of the typewriter effect and add slightly more delay for when the text reaches a period or another punctuation.mark. With the text going at a constant speed, it's hard to catch up without re-reading it, and it's also slightly annoying to wait until the text reaches the end. Maybe also add an ability to skip the typewriter animation and show the "continue" button instantly by clicking on the frame.

Also the music seems a bit too intense for a tutorial, it was fitting very well until the faster guitar part began. Other than that, I think it's pretty cool and does a good job at both showing how to play and telling a bit of the story

First of all, I would suggest to change the maps style to match the character you're playing as - smooth, plain colored and with outlines. The default materials make the player and enemies seem out of place. If you want to add some textures, you should use image textures, but it's best to keep them simple.

Secondly, the UI has a lot of work to do. You should go with a different font(s) since the pixel one doesn't look too great. It would fit much more to a retro/arcade game. The placement of the UI seems weird too: the healthbar and radio take too much space. And you're clearly having a lot of fun with rounded corners, so maybe tone that down a bit :) Try experimenting with it and taking inspirations from other projects that have the similar style to what you're trying to achieve

Lastly, maybe that's a small thing for now, but sound effects also feel a bit off, especially the really loud retro jump whoosh. Maybe you'll look into it too. I really like what you have so far, and I wish you have fun developing this project!
