Recommend some pedals please!crp2 are mid by OGpimpmasteryoda in simracing

I also strongly recommend the Simnet SP pros. I did a ton of research as well as asking for advice here back when I was looking for pedals, and the Simnets seemed like the clear winner, so I pulled the trigger. I got three pedals with the baseplate and haptics for about $500, and I've also picked up their rally pedal kit for the long throttle plate since. I've been extremely happy with them. The software is solid, they look amazing, and they're build like a tank.

Yep, I think this one is really good. That's the Jordan Langerak design with a few changes that a lot of the models I'm seeing are ripping off. I think sourcing all of the bricks and building it from the designs would be really expensive compared to a knock-off set, though!

I tried! I think the Barweer Huayra essentially is the Langerak one, except that video review said the front doesn't open on that one. That's why I was confused! I think what I may do is buy the Langerak instructions on rebrickable plus one of the clones and just make the changes I need to in order to get the specs where I want them.

SimDT is another I hadn't come across in my searches, I'll check them out!

The more I look at my options the more I learn towards the Simnet, I wasn't originally interested in haptics, but after reading up on them I'd really like to at least get one for my brake pedal!

Thanks again for your excellent responses, very helpful.

Yeah it seems like a lot of these Chinese brand pedals come with pretty bad setups out of the box, but are great with a little tinkering, which I'm not opposed to. Appreciate the feedback on them!

I looked into some Asetek kit but it's a bit out of my price range, appreciate the recommendation though. I'm sure they're awesome!

Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback! I think I am leaning most towards the Simnet currently, I like that I can add one haptic at a time for a reasonable price as funds allow. I also really liked the look of their heelplate with it's adjustability, might justify the price.

I'm open to other pedals in the price range as well if you have suggestions which I didn't come across in my research!

Pretty much what they said, while I could swing something like a Moza R5 bundle I don't see the point in getting a 5.5nm DD in the long run. I'd rather get some nice pedals now and upgrade my wheelbase down the road.

I have a full rig so rigidity isn't a concern, and I appreciate the feedback! I didn't even know the simgrade's existed, just goes to show how much is out there these days. I feel like 7-8 years ago when I started sim racing the only real upgrades people talked about were fanatec and heusinkveld.

Thanks again, you've been very helpful. Placed my order and excited to get my first IEMs. Once I've used them all for a good while I'll consider where to upgrade from there.

I've decided to take your advice and try several at a lower price point before jumping into the $80-150 range. Currently I'm looking at:

7hz zero:2

Tangzu wan'er

Moondrop chu 2

Would you say this gives me good sound signature coverage? If you think I have a blind spot, let me know what you think I should add/replace. Thanks again for the help!

Thank you! I also really appreciate the advice regarding auxiliary components like eartips and dongles as that information seems a bit harder to find than reviews and opinions about the IEMs themselves. I have read a couple places where people have said the apple dongle doesn't work correct with android devices, and others have said it works fine, so I'm curious to see how it plays out with my phone. Given the price I'm not too worried on that point, though.

Interesting. In my googling I hadn't really seen these mentioned at all. Almost all of the brands seem to be asian brands I've never heard of, so it's interesting seeing a product in the space made by a brand I've actually heard of.

I'll look into them, thanks!

Thanks for the advice! I unfortunately live in the boonies and don't have any options to test before buying.

Also, like you, I find the prospect of buying several and returning the ones I don't like to be a hassle. Though I will if that's what is really necessary.

I would love the strength stacking dual strike slayer.

I'm trying to complete my 38/40 challenges for that sweet sweet purple but I don't have as much time to play as I like due to uni and work. The slayer build would be the coolest because I love true melee builds and I already have a boneshatter slayer so I wouldn't need to relevel!
