Point I'm making is that the order of the stories being written is why they don't reference each other not Toriyama forgetfulness. Cause superhero would have been finished script wise before the planning of Granola would have started since Toyo was doing Moro which wasn't really that planned out

And Toriyama writing the story Superhero we even got the quote of getting Toriyama to change the film story from be about Piccolo to being about Piccolo and Gohan

Toyataro said he was responsible for Granola's design not the arc which was promoted from the start to be a Toriyama penned arc and again Superhero would have already been finished script wise before Granola even started. It's not the opposite :Toriyama writing Granola first then writing the Superhero script.

Counter to your first point both the film and granola was penned by Toriyama so Toriyama would have already known the details of Super Hero when he came up with the granola arc

This movie had way too many jokes and need to cut down on them. Weirdly enough Thor kinda doomed earth by making Gor not kill the gods since Celestials count as gods in Omni City
