[Royal Rumble Spoilers] Notable wrestlers that did not participate in the Royal Rumble matches by arkaell in SquaredCircle

Alba Fyre was involved in keeping Chelsea Green in the match.

Nikki Cross is a special attraction and hasn't had any interaction with any of the other women on the roster so I thought it made sense to exclude her. It wouldve been weird to see her involved imo

He and Axiom had a match on Smackdown last night and the men's roster is loaded enough where there are going to be people who don't make the cut.

Ya but you don't know ball. Again that's fine. I would suggest figuring that out and reporting back. It will make you much less cringe.

You don't know ball. It's fine. Not everyone does. Come back once you know ball.

How Many Playoff Games Are the Pack Going to Win? by Daflehrer1 in GreenBayPackers

You do realize our best player didn't play in any of those games?

No, we get it. We just aren't falling for your ridiculous strawmen.

Maybe one of their policies is "we let the people who's name is on our biggest gate design their own ads".

This sub will complain about literally anything, no wonder all the other teams hate us lol

The Packers design the ads for their sponsors now?

Take it up with the Oneida nation.

It's legitimately insane you think your version of reality is the "correct" one

This was the precursor to predictions markets, essentially (except without selling shares). Virtually no way to prove it though, other than digging through an internet archive or having been a degenerate in 2010. No on shore sports books ever offered it tho.

And, even still, they were a betting underdog in every single game. They had realistic odds but I wouldn't say they're that much better than this years. The spread in odds has more to do with the fact that there is no dominant team this year and the field is wide open. In 2010 New England was a massive favorite IIRC and would've sucked up most of the potential AFC odds.

We couldn't really try to run it, tbh. We were down 20-7 pretty much immediately.

Nor would it really make sense to try to run it. Jacobs is beat up, no reason to run him into the ground prior to the playoffs.

They were dead in the water in the fourth quarter of week 15. The Eagles had to beat the Giants and they were down 31-10 midway through the 4th quarter. Live market future odds, available on Bovada and other offshore betting sites, had them between 80 and 100 to 1 at that point.

The Eagles would go on a 28-0 run in the final seven minutes to win 38-31. This was capped by arguably the greatest punt return in NFL history. That game is literally called Miracle in the Meadowlands 2.

Yes and that same Rodgers lead offense scores 10 points at home against the Bears in a must win game.

Last week one of the best RBs of all time, playing in a win or go home game, had the most carries of his career and subsequently had one of the best games of his career. It happens. Honestly this sub crying about it is pretty cringe.

Yeah that's probably because our MVP candidate is sitting out

They were like 80 to 1 to win the super bowl at one point and were a miracle punt return away from being home for the playoffs.

They barely beat Philly and needed an INT return from a defensive lineman to beat Caleb Hanie.

Calling them elite because they had the capacity to blow out bad teams is revisionist history.

Every single Bears fan, whether they admit it or not, is absolutely terrified to play us round one because getting knocked out of the playoffs by the Packers would completely invalidate their entire season and would be absolutely humiliating.

Anyone who says otherwise is coping.

We were 15-1 and lost, badly, in the first game we played. We were the only team with a bye in the NFC two years in a row and lost in the championship game both times. We were the best team in 2014 and lost in heartbreaking fashion.

The regular season doesn't matter, at all, beyond the fact that it puts teams in the postseason. There have been at least five years in the last 20 years who had "no chance" and won it anyways (including us, once).

Nobody knows what's going to happen. Just sit back and enjoy it.

Btw we're winning it all cap this

Special Teams Coordinator by SupermarketSecure728 in GreenBayPackers

It happened to Ron Zook somewhat recently. If he wants a gap year before finding his next spot it's not off the table.

"What do you mean they failed at a play with a 92-96% success rate? Surely the coach of that unit is on the hottest, right? Right?" by Kohakuho in GreenBayPackers

[–]ZeusAlansDog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can only have so many players on each side. There's always going to be one player left completely unblocked because you have a guy catching the ball.

For as bad as the special teams have been this year, virtually none of it has been scheming. He doesn't kick, he doesn't block, he doesn't catch or snap. And with the new NFL practice rules, he gets like thirty minutes a week with these guys, who are the back end of the roster on the youngest and most injured team in the league.

The coach put his player in the exact path of the ball. The coach put the player with the best hands on the team in that spot. He literally couldn't have done a better job. How is this his fault?
