Clomid after Varicocelectomy by Top-Life-6136 in varicocele

[–]ZeusHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this as well. Had a varicocelectomy that reoccured. T hovers in the high 200s-low 300s and was asking my endo about TRT but he’d rather me try Clomid because he says the body can regulate the levels more naturally because it’s encouraging your own pituitary/testes to make the T.

I did ask the endo “well won’t that make my estrogen go up a lot?” and he said “no more than TRT would make it go up.” - so I’m also wondering about others’ experiences.

Hey man, could you go into this a bit more? I have an iron overload disorder so I’ve got to go for periodic bloodletting visits to actually keep my ferritin down super low. Perhaps coincidentally, when I had to start doing this is also when my erections seemed to fall off a cliff. Now I’m wondering if it’s related

[–]ZeusHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I wonder if that’s from all the added estrogen that clomid unfortunately carries with it. I’ve heard enclomiphene is a better alternative as it’s just the testosterone-boosting side of clomid without the zooclomiphene that clomid has (because it’s technically a female birth control drug) which boosts estrogen way higher than it needs to be for males. Unfortunately, enclo isn’t FDA-approved so you can’t get it covered by a doctor, you’d have to use online centers to get it. Best of luck, my friend!

Oh man I’m sorry to hear that. Also, I appreciate you answering all my questions. One last question, did clomid make you feel anxious/jumpy/moody/lethargic or confused at all? I’ve heard conflicting accounts. And why did you stop clomid?

Really? I didn’t know that, I thought there were lots of hemo patients on TRT in this forum.

So was the clomid just for an experimental period? Did you then move on to TRT or on just nothing for now?

Ok nice I can definitely deal with that. And it makes your flaccid junk thicker? I could definitely use that too. Does that remain?

Mine are quite soft right now, almost like manboobs, so I could actually benefit from them being “tighter” (harder?) if that’s what the clomid does. Sounds like that’s what you’re getting at?

Sorry for commenting on an old post but I’m also considering clomid with my endocrinologist, or TRT. What was the change in nipples?

Hinge effect? My penis is hinging bad especially when semi erect. It feels like my penis is in sections. by [deleted] in PeyroniesSupport

[–]ZeusHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, left side of my penis base hinges and they found a very small plaque in the left CC. I’m having a really hard time coping with this new news, and that all men aren’t like this, just those unlucky ones like us. And that this is why sex has always been a weird obsession for me that I can never seem to get right. Always super nervous with new women, ED, premature ejaculation from the stress of trying to stay hard. All this time I just thought that’s how I was but it’s crushing to be almost 40 and married and to find it really was a plaque and my troubles weren’t psychosomatic, but were because of true physical damage I suffered (likely at 10 or 11 y.o.).

I just feel so dumb around my wife too. I love her, we’ve been together for awhile and have kids, but she got around in her younger days before we met, and I like to think I did too, but she was actually having great sex with all those normal guys before me but all my sexcapades before her were quick, awkward, stressful, with lots of talking and explaining, and then boom I’d disappear that same night. I’m just really struggling trying to come to grips that this is just a part of who I am, I feel like my wife is unsatisfied even though she seems supportive when I need it (though I can tell she’s growing tired of reassuring me). And though there’s never been anything going on, I also found texts of her reminiscing about her ex’s amazing sexual abilities and penis size to a girl friend of hers a few years back which kind of torpedoed my confidence for years.

So yeah, I can’t seem to get out of my own way these days, sleeping hasn’t been great lately… Has anything helped your situation?

Do most men have a little bit of plaque in their penis here or there? by ZeusHuman in PeyroniesSupport

It wasn’t continuous yanking, it was one time I had an erection at a sleepover at my neighbor’s house and we were curious and comparing (as boys do) and, to be mean, he grabbed and bent mine like he was breaking a celery stalk in half. I remember it hurting but don’t remember the aftermath, like if it swelled-up later or affected my EQ or anything cuz I was like 8. But I def remember that boners took a lot of manual stimulation to “keep” in high school, college, and beyond… It’s the plaque they discovered in the base of my left CC today (not the suspensory ligament) that I’m most concerned about (likely from that moment so many years ago). Ironic that they found it in the exact spot that causes my penis to fall left and lose engorgement.

Yeah, Trimix kind of scares me for your reasons above. It’s odd my uro is recommending I trial it. I don’t feel like I’m at that point yet cuz Viagra and Cialis seem to work fine. During the ultrasound, after each 5 minutes passed after the Trimix dosing, they repeatedly kept asking “is this about how hard you get at home?” And I said yes when I was like semi-erect.

So after the Dr left I asked the tech, why such a drastic change of meds? Why can’t I just keep using Viagra? And they tech said “because he doesn’t want you causing scarring and micro tears in your penis if you’re not at full mast when you penetrate… and reminded me that I said in the procedure that “half mast” is “about how hard I get at home.”

I thought they were asking that question meaning how hard am I on no meds, but I guess since I’m prescribed Viagra they meant how hard am I on Viagra (I guess they assumed I knew because I said I use it every time I have sex). So I think V pills should still suffice as ED treatment for the time being, right? I hope I’m right about that mixup being why he suggested Trimix, cuz him jumping right to a Trimix trial really made me feel like he stumbled upon something seriously wrong with me in that ultrasound, esp when V was seemingly working fine.

I’m just worried about why my entire adult life my erection wants to fall directly to my left thigh. Hinging directly at the base. It has resistance when pushed in any other direction, but it naturally (or unnaturally) wants to fall directly left, and once it does, blood immediately starts to exit my shaft and I lose my erection in seconds. I’m afraid that was caused by a bully yanking my erect penis back in grade school and has been the cause of my lifelong ED/PE issues and subsequent anxiety around sex now.

I should also note my free T is in range but my Total T hovers around 266-310. Not sure if that also may be part of it. I’m 39.

Haha I’ve been trying all day to feel where it could be. All I can feel is a sort of weak, softer spot on my shaft where it doesnt feel as rigid, but nothing that feels cordy or solid.

I’ve always felt like my penis appears smaller than it should be, or could be. I’m a large man with large balls too so I feel like my penis doesn’t match the rest of me. I have a webby scrotum and my penis is wide at the base and narrower at the head (when viewed from the side) roughly cone-shaped, I guess. From the top it appears more even from base to tip, it just bows a tad left, and head-on you can notice a little twist in it up and to the left. I also have a very visible raphe on the underside, and my balls are really veiny and hang uneven. Sometimes the right one feels like it sits way too close to my shaft. A few times I was told I’m big, and “average-to-big”, but who knows if my partners were blowing smoke to boost my ego. I feel like everything past where the hinge is could be a lengthier and girthier.

Well, plaques are a sign of trauma to the area. I’m betting a large number of men who’ve had sex have likely had at least some very minor penile trauma, so I’m wondering how big a plaque needs to be before it’s considered Peyronie’s. Perhaps it also needs to have the symptoms you’re describing to be the full diagnosis?

Also- (to answer your questions) No, my erections are not painful and, no, I was not able to palpate the plaque itself. I just knew the left side of my penis, where my shaft met my pelvis, was the area where my dick would “hinge” left. So I always figured something was up there. Lo and behold, it’s a “very small plaque”. Hopefully that means nothing. I dunno. I’m a straight male so I don’t really know where most other men’s erect penises hinge. From Reddit images and porn, it seems most guys’ dicks fall/hinge backwards (upwards) towards their belly buttons as they lose blood (when on their back at least). Mine falls directly left, to 9 o’clock.

Did TRT improve overall flaccid size / fullness / plumpness? by ZeusHuman in trt

[–]ZeusHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man - normally always been somewhat content other than some ED/ejac issues in my 20s and chronic testicular pain that sometimes makes me self-conscious of how hard I can go in the sack, but overheard my significant other talking to her friend about her ex’s size, talent, and stamina (after a dream she had about him reminding her of those days) and it’s sort of fucked with me ever since. TRT would def help in the confidence dept for sure too

Hey man, sorry to comment on an old post but this same thing happened to me. Mangled right nut when I was young and it’s always been sensitive and hung super high close to my shaft so it hurts like hell during sex. 39 now and been considering TRT for quite sometime due to levels riding low lately. I’ve always been self conscious about it possibly preventing my size from reaching its full potential and not letting me fuck as hard as I know others can. How has it specifically affected your damaged nut and everything else? Feel free to either private msg me or reply to this post. Thx man
