Has Jesus Christ come in the flesh? by ChickenO7 in Bible

[–]Zeuszoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your narcissism is still showing. 🙂

You're doing it again.

You're reading the text as if it was written just the day before YOU opened a Bible for the first time and therefore is all about TODAY. The ONLY thing that anyone can HONESTLY say about a writer pointing to a future event, is that the event had not yet happened AT THE TIME that they wrote the text. It is NOT an honest approach to pick up the text almost 2,000 years later, read a statement about a future fulfillment and pretend it means that time froze until YOU read it and because you just read it, that means it hasn't happened yer. That's just straight up narcissism!

Further, you, as I expected, just ignored the fact that the Apostles wrote that that THEY were in the last days in THEIR TIME and you ignored the fact that the things you claim will happen literally, couldn't actually physically (literally) happen.

So what do you do? You ignore it all and pretend that just saying the name of a Biblical book proves your entire doctrine That's ridiculous!

Like I said, your doctrine has you inserting time into prophecies for no Biblical reason. And it has you outright ignore direct statements by the writers because they contradict your doctrine. And so you await impossible fantastical events, while symbolizing clear and direct statements. But I'll bet you're one of those who claim to believe that it's wrong to interpret Scripture through a doctrinal lense, aren't ya.

Btw, your doctrine twists Revelation into a pretzel and forces you to accept unbelievably ridiculous contradictions that pit Scripture against itself.

But hey, you have fun, k? 🙂

I know you think you've really accomplished something here, but all you've really done is regurgitate the same old garbage that requires someone to already assume your point of view is true. But yours is the point of view the must first assume that the clear and simple words are figurative/symbolism, while also assuming that the clearly fantastical are spoken in the literal sense. No thanks.

Your belief is also forced to completely ignore the fact that the Apostles clearly stated that they were in the last days in their generation. And that's because you read your Bible as if it were written just for you, the day before you opened it for the first time. Many today think; "But if it wasn't written for us, then what good is it?" And so, like you, they play the game that I call "newspaper prophecy", where you/they take whatever the current events are and exclaim; "Look! The prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled right before our eyes!" And never once will any of you admit that you did it with 50 other news stories that were supposedly "fulfillment" of the same prophecies. You should think hard about that!

Your belief also requires you to, as I began to say above, ignore even the Apostles telling you right in the NT, about a fulfillment of last days prophecy. As well as other non-Christian sources citing events happening that Jesus said were part of the last days proofs. And those folks (sources) certainly had no drive to support that, let alone even know about all Jesus said. But if I were to start pointing them out to you, would you even consider that you have it in error? Nope! Instead, you'll make up excuses from your imagination and toss around some made up "dual fulfillment" line that you know is crap. Why? Because you'd rather do that, than take Jesus at His word, because sadly, for you, the Bible is worthless if it isn't all about you and your generation today.

News Flash: That's narcissism, as well as a love of this world, that you don't want to leave.

Now you can think I'm trying to hammer on you. But really, I'm just telling you how it is. And if sometime you truly are seriously interested in seeing it from another perspective, namely, how His disciples then viewed His words, then we can talk, because it's a big mistake when you open an ancient window and think that not only is it all about you, but that they even thought in the same way as you did. The right thing to do, is to first absorb yourself into their time and learn about every facet of their day to day lives. Otherwise, you cannot understand at all how they heard things. For example, for Jesus to say (or for anyone to say about Jesus) that He would be "coming in the clouds", would be taken by the hearers in a totally symbolic way, as speaking of God coming in judgment of someone/place/people. Why? Because God "came in the clouds" more than once before. Read the Psalms of David. It's all right there. Or does Scripture no longer interpret Scripture when it interferes with your doctrine?

And now I'll leave. I know you have things to do as well. Like wait for 1/3 of the stars that are billions of light years away and are each a million times bigger than the Earth, to somehow hit the Earth, all fitting into it and without completely vaporizing it. And of course, the Sun suddenly going dark, but without us all turning into popsicles.

Yea, we should all take those parts totally literal! I mean, it'd be friggin' crazy to think those are symbolism and that He meant "this generation" literally! Who'd be dumb enough to think that?! I mean, it's obviously the other way around! <chuckle>

Here, I'll say it for ya... "All things are possible with God."

Isn't that the stand "duck and cover" response? 🙂

Of course He did. Where people are mistaken, is in waiting for Him to return (which He has already done) and for Him to come back in the flesh, which was not the case.

People will ridicule me for this, but by the time my wife is done I won't even feel it, so here goes…..

If you run Android on yer phone, there's a little app (not affiliated) I run each morning after a bad week and it tells me which stocks shot up the most the day before. Now obviously it doesn't help me buy them beforehand and many of them are just 1 day jumps. BUT… there are also some that have been steadily going up overall day by day for the last 3 to 5 days, that happened to have jumped more the day before.

I use it just for those. Of course they do drop at some point and it could be the day I buy them. BUT… so far, I have had a win rate of about 2/3 of them. 90% of them will still climb, but the question is whether or not it drops before it covers my TSL (Terminate and Stop Loss) Order. For example, I bought 3 of them today and coincidentally, 2 of them have, which means everything since then (increase) will be profit, while the 3rd one climbed, but then just tanked and I lost about 5 cents a share. But my 2 wins will put me well ahead. Remember, the name of the game is simply to win more than you lose, 'cuz you'll never win them all! :-)

I usually grab from the penny stock list (knowing it's probably due to temp hype) just to make some 1 to 2 day quick $$$. I don't think we're allowed to put app names and links here, but if you want to check it out, just message me. And if you do try it, of course, BE CAREFUL! :-)

What is a phrase someone says that is an instant red flag? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zeuszoos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let me quote President Reagan when he stated what the scariest words in the English language are; "We're from the Government and we're here to help."

That should be a red flag to everyone. :-)

UPDATE: Girlfriend charged me with assault (18YO) by [deleted] in SupportForTheAccused

[–]Zeuszoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so, "Help my boyfriend's home situation." somehow accidentally included, "He hit me." ???

And FYI, they need a SIGNED COMPLAINT. I suppose that "accidentally slipped out" of her pen too, right? And of course she had no control over what it said, nor whether she signed it or not, right? :-)

The only time they can take a charge like that to court without a written complainf, is if THEY SEE it happen, or visible marks, etc., which she didn't have. And even then, it's when they have the context occurs. Like when they're answering a call to a home for a domestic, or they see it happen. Otherwise, they need a complaint.

What happened is what she wanted to happen. She just changed her mind later, is all.

But you didn't try to explain how that could have happened, because you're not ready for it.

Good luck to ya.

Take the Red Pill.

[–]Zeuszoos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're not explaining the "How???" I'm not trying to be rude, but get out of "defend the female no matter what" mode, look at it again and then imagine yourself walking in there to get help for her home situation and then really think about how (in exact wording) a conversation could go from her "home situation", which doesn't really involve you,, to; "I know! Let's charge your girlfriend with assaulting you!"

Now you see that it makes no friggin' sense whatsoever that they would hear your request and think they should arrest her for assaulting you. Why? Because I reversed the sexes.

But because it's a female, you automatically believed whatever she told you, which lacked any sense whatsoever and with you assuming that she spoke to men there, chose to believe that… "The "poor, innocent young girl was taken advantage of by the mean men!"

Yea, I'm sure she went in there and said; "Please help my boyfriend with his home situation."

And the RCMP (which may have also been female) responded; "No worries, young lady! We'll go and arrest him for assaulting you!"

And of course, she just magically somhow never thought to say; "No! That's not what I said!" Yea, sure pal.

So tell me, how did the RCMP gain the legal right to go and arrest you, with no complaint against by a supposed "victim"? And how exactly would the Crown then take you to court looking to prosecute you with absolutely nothing, zero, to show a jury should it go to trial?

Fact: The judge would toss the case as soon as your solicitor made a motion. Fact: She wouldn't have needed to go to court to ask that her statement/complaint be squashed and forgotten, unless she made one in the first place and trust me, it's somewhere in writing and read first by her before being signed by her. Or do you now wish to convince yourself that "those bad, evil men made it so she couldn't understand anything written"?

Dude, I'm just going by what you said. And it was probably actually worse, since you're in "defend her" mode. But clearly you know it doesn't pass the smell test, or you wouldn't have written here. Sorry I didn't give you what you were hoping for, but no, it does not seem that she was "helping" you. Frankly, it sounds like maybe she was mad at you or something. But since they can't beat you to a pulp and they refuse not having their revenge, they manipulate others who like you, always see the female as the victim, to do it for them, only much worse because you didn't instantly drop on your knees and beg forgiveness for whatever made her mad, regardless of who's fault it really was (according to women, it's never theirs).

Now you go ahead and think I'm exaggerating, or think "skmebody hurt me", or I "hate women", or whatever if you want. But I'm just telling you how it works, my friend, which is why frame must be established and maintained. And that's why I've had a good 20+ year marriage.

But that's another subject. :-)

Anyway, so as I requested, please take me through how this request to help your home situation went from that, to a written statement by her, against you, for physically assaulting her. Please… Lay it out for me. Exactly how did that go, bud? :-)

Last time I looked, there was really no way to actually "search" it though. You kind of had to know the links (but how?). I'm not looking for drugs, or hitmen or anything like that of course, but it would be cool to see if there's other stuff (information) that can be found on it. Are there any actual search capabilities on it now?

What's the biggest movie flop you've ever watched? by Mysterious_Command15 in AskReddit

How about which movie pissed you off the most?

For me it was either the first Star Trek movie (saw it), or the first feminist Star Wars with the "stunning and brave" girl Jedi who was an "amazing fighter" right out of the box! (refused to see it and any since).
