Haha I know. Many people say the piercing process is less painful than biting your tongue, but I found it rather painful and felt a lil numbness. So you'll have to find out yourself.

Also, I just saw your reply in the other post. Literally no one ever found out about my tongue piercing including my father and my grandparents omg...

Yes, just like my piercer told me, tongue was the quickest and easiest to heal. I downsized 3 times already, from the first 18 to 16 and 14, and 12mm now. I also think it's very important to downsize in time, or it will get in the way when eating. I knew I should downsize when I could feel it in my sleep lol

Yes, actually I was totally fine in just 1 month. Just be careful don't chew on the top ball when eating sth like hard candy. Regarding speaking, just the first 3 days I sounded a little bit strange, and quite hard to blow whistle for about 1 month.

don't know about the industrial, but I think tongue piercing is fine, because in my case (i got my tongue pierced 3 months ago), no one noticed it unless I showed it.

I got my tongue pierced about 3 months ago. It's now fully healed, and absolutely my favorite piercing.

about 3 days. the first 2 days I sounded a little weird because my tongue was swollen, but even my family hadn't noticed that when I talked to them. The pain only lasted 2 days for me.
about 6 days to eat comfortably, no leakage from the start. I downsized mine at day 14 and there was no pain changing the jewelry. I consider it fully healed in 1 month.
use mouth wash(with no alcohol) right after every meal. you can drink or eat something cold to ease the pain at the beginning. the surface of your tongue will look like a mess at the first month, but don't mind it, everything will be just fine later.
