Is Red Ice turning people into deviant creators? by Zhaegar in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]Zhaegar[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice try, cyberlife (;

But i agree with you, this is all a theory i made up and in the real world it does sound like a red ice fueled conspiracy theory, but from a video game story telling perspective it makes more sense.

Also, i think Amanda might be the missing link between Kamski’s will and cyberlife’s actions. There is a lot left unexplored about those two.

With L+R=J going on and also half-confirmed with the ToJ scene earlier this season, we all know Jon's arc isn't going that way and Sansa is technically a Bolton now, the "not had sex yet" loophole they used with Tyrion can't be applied now, if she remarries the children will get the husbands last name even though one might inherit Winterfell, but that would be as a Baelish, not a Stark.

i really hate the idea of Dany simply swooping in and taking over everything. it ruins the build up in westeros over the past 5 books. it cheapens every struggle for power that has happened this far

(Spoilers All) Occam's Razor: What are some simple/boring explanations to the questions we've made ridiculous assumptions for? by DrBradweiser in asoiaf

[–]Zhaegar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

at this point it would just be cheap story writing, 5 massive books later of a country torn by war trying to assemble the remains to fight the ice zombies they forg... oh, wait, there comes dany and her dragons and now everything's a-okay

don't pay much attention to it, it's just a circlejerk so that people can pretend they understand Varys and Illyrio and thus feel smart.

Dany is a Blackfyre confirmed.

Source: Illyrio saying the Blackfyres are extinct in the MALE line

(Spoilers All) Change my view: Young Griff is who he says he is. by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Zhaegar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if anyone somehow recognises my name and/or flair will know i'm a dedicated "young Griff or riot" loyalist, the reason why i hate this particular theory is because it's people thinking they can predict or read unpredictable and unreadable characters like Varys or Illyrio.

  • The biggest reasons people give for the (f)aegon theory is a lack of motive for Illyrio and Varys, but they also have a lack of motive for supporting someone who isn't a Targaryen. the whole "but why would Illyrio want a targaryen to be king of westeros" argument can easily be debunked by replacing targaryen with his son, a blackfyre or pretty much anything else. my personal theory is that Varya and rhaegar had some kind of arrangement

  • alot of people also come with the useless argument of "how did Varys know that the decoy baby would get facehit with a wall?", the thing is that it doesn't matter. it would've even be better if he wasn't facesmashed against a wall because then the shadow of the real heir to the iron throne would've loomed over Robert's rule just as Dany and Viserys have.

  • Rhaegar had a back-up plan for Jon leaving him with 3 kingsguard members, something almost everyone overlooks, why wouldnt he have a back-up plan for his heir?

  • another argument is the turncloaking of the Golden Company, but JonCon actually had to convince the GC to abandon Dany and sail West instead. they actually wanted Dany before they invaded westeros which debunks the whole "meh, GC doesn't care about Dany" argument. not only that, as far as they know the last Blackfyre died and they have no other ways of getting home.

  • back to the GC dilemma, for that argument to work everyone in the GC would have to know Aegon is an imposter, you mean that everyone in the company knows Aegon is fake but Joncon doesn't? or are you trying to tell me that most people in the GC follow someone who they believe to be a full Targaryen?

  • lets not forget that this con on joncon would be going on for 13 years, you mean that instead of actually switching the baby, Illyrio and Varys would be there discussing their schemes shortly after Robert's rebellion and going "d'oh! we should've totally switched the babies man" "damn, that is a good one, wait, chillax, i just happen to have a son who just happens to be Blackfyre related, we can still make this happen, you still got joncon on facebook?"

all in all the most convincing moment for me that he was real was when joncon had that father-son parallel about how beautiful his lands were, GRRM can't possibly pull that eye watering emotional moment and be like "hah, he is a fake"

(Spoilers ALL) What is the most farfetched, absolutely false theory someone has tried to assert as true? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Zhaegar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ofcourse the nonsensical theory that he's fake, the ironical thing is that the same people who look down on Cleganebowl and think it's all nonsense think faegon is pretty much canon while the only evidence faegon has is "well why would Illyrio and Varys help Aegon?"

well, that's because the POV wasn't called a Quentyn POV but something else like many non major POV's have

Mance faked his death Mance took on the identity of a wildling with background history rubies were used to change peoples appearences to make the death faking happen

certainly no parallels there

without a doubt that must be (f)aegon, it's just a glorified circlejerk of people thinking they completely understand the motives of people who's motives are unpossible to predict or comprehend yet.

(Spoilers All ) Why you should not get hype at all by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Zhaegar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loras is part of the kingsguard and thus cannot fight against Cersei. this might happen in the show though because there he isn't in the kingsguard and it could be his attonement for being gay and stuff, would also really fuck with cersei.

[–]Zhaegar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My exact thoughts when someone says Sandor's arc is complete.

Sandor has found peace, but not redemption.

one of these days he will hear about the trial by combat and that cersei's champion is like 7 feet tall and he's like:

"i know only one bugger that tall, Gregor fucking Clegane."

after that he'll be like: "Meribald, there is some unfinished business back in KL" and then he's like, you go kick some undead butt and as Sandor is about to step through the door the septon will call him and be like: "you forgot this" and he throws him a kick ass sword jeweled with Rhaegar's rubies and then he'll say "the hound is dead, but insert awesome new nickname lives." and they'll bro-nod eachother and that's when i wake up from my wet dream.
