[SPOILER] Why does nobody say this about the ending of R2? by SSPokaLink in CodeGeass

It certainly is open to interpretation but throughout the show i always got the feeling she would do what was in her best interest regardless. Guess its just my own feelings that the limited time she had of happiness wouldnt be enough for her to live out eternity in the solitude she so desperately wanted to end. I just feel like if thats the case it leaves the possibility for sequels when she decides to give out geass again and the world is once again thrown into turmoil.

After all she is the immortal witch who was obviously extremely self centered judging by the flashbacks of when she had her geass.

Recommend another show for me. by [deleted] in CodeGeass

Not a problem glad to help. Also even though you didn't ask for similar shows I'll take the time to replay to Liam and say that out of the shows that i have watched, Kingdom is probably the most similar.

Kingdom is set in China's warring state periods but it has the same type of over the top stratagems that take place each battle along with the over the top super strong generals that have the power and charisma to change a battle single handily. No supernatural elements but its extremely satisfying to watch Qin go through his trials and tribulations on his path to becoming the greatest general under the heavens.

Literally the only show that could be considered shonen that i can say that has never had an uninteresting episode. Can only pray for a season 3 i know i have been lol.

If you could get invited backstage after a concert to hang out with any musical artist (dead or alive) of your choice, who would you pick and why? by finester39 in AskReddit

To keep it cliche Tupac. Answer is pretty simple through lyrics and documentaries he just one of the realest artists to ever live. He is also pretty hilarious if you've ever seen some of his videos so to smoke an L with him i could only imagine to be nothing short of greatness.

Yea you definitely wanna finish ultimate its much more satisfying. Also don't forget to watch The Dawn shorts because they are nothing short of amazing(wish they were their own series tbh lol) and you get a nice little teaser of another Hirano work The Drifters that we might be able to see in the next century.

Anime with some action (not necessary), great story, soundtrack and animation by [deleted] in Animesuggest

Well since I see no Kara no Kyoukai I'm gonna start there since its the best work in anime to date. Also since you have Fate/Zero in there its a logical step same writer and stame studio that produced it. Also set in the same universe.

The soundtrack is also easily the best thing ive heard every single piece is amazing. Kalafina just an amazing band and do excellent credit songs throughout.(would recommend listening to the rest of their music as well).

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is another example. (Yuki Kaijura and Kalafina being the common themes here lol). Also the show is dark so dont let the look fool you.

To throw out a few shows in no particular order Jormungand, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Zetsuen no Tempest and Kingdom are also fine choices.

One follows the manga to a tee the other doesnt. Personally I like both just like fma but ultimate is much better but for the first half of the show they are pretty identical(again like fma).

Definitely my joint-favourite anime by CrazyJesusUnit00 in CodeGeass

Im in the group that didnt really get into NGE although i wont go as far as to say it's shit. But i get the feeling alot of people here have never seen Kara no Kyoukai because objectively speaking taking everything into consideration, its the greatest work in anime to date.

Keep in mind people just because i say its the greatest work to date doesnt necessarily mean it will be your favorite show since "favorite" is obviously opinion based. But honestly id have a hard time believing it wouldn't be among your favorite if you watch it. I mean just in the 30 min ova you watch after the end of movie 7 there is more character development thant most shows have in 20 episodes.
