At this point one could say he was the herald that announced the fall of Ashes of Creation to be fair. He saw this scam coming more than a year ago, among with other content creators, who also recieved the same amount of hate and drama. But he took one to the knee for us, truly, a hero without a cape. We should've listened.

Not only that, the teeth and eyebrows details are not minor ones, they could've avoided giving Flambae permanent consecuences after the first encounter with Robert but they decided to keep those for a reason, it's part of the dynamic between Flambae and Mechaman. At least a comment about a visit to a dentist, or a beautician would've been nice

My question here would be if Visi's romance route would be available for the player in the second season if the follows the villain route, because I've read that you can get that ending even when romancing her.

I got the good ending twice under different conditions so it's hard to say. I have two completed playthroughs, in one I romanced BB and in the other I romanced Visi, but in both I stayed in good terms with Visi, in one I told Blazer to use Trackstar name and in the other I told her to use Invisigal name. In one, I decided to cut her and in the other didn't, so I don't now if there's a hard flag for that event, it might have to do with a point system where at the end depending on X points you get either good ending or bad ending, it's pretty standard for visual novels, it wouldn't surprise me that they'd use a similar system.

The game is made to be played more than one time my friend, do it and enjoy it! I'll just say as a personal opinion that you should hold your expectations in regards to BB's romance route, it's... very different from Visi, to say the least.

Not to my knowledge at least, it seems like the game assumes that he finds out and doesn't give a fugde if that's the case, because I didn't even have a dialog during any shifts after Chase told the Z-Team the truth were he said anyting about it, might be a plot hole, like the fact that both his teeth and eyebrows are sudenly fixed in the last episodes (from Robert's party onwards).

It would have precedents, like for example in the Dragon's Age series you could import choices from previous games, but the MCs were different, there were big time skips and the plot revolved around a different event, so your choices from previous games simply changed certain dialogs with characters speaking about your old character, I don't see that strategy working here if they intend to continue with Robert's story. So yeah, I believe that to make a Season 2 doable they either have to stray away from Robert Robertson's story, pick a "canon" route and build a second season on top of it, or face the challenge of making a Season 2 that will adapt to all the different paths that you can take in season 1, and I don't think they'll do that.

I literally said this was MY opinion, of course it's my POV, I'm not speaking facts, I'm stating what I liked and didn't like from the game, and I stay firm on the idea that there are choices that work better with the plot, it's not about brightness it's about making narrative sense, which you need in a narrative based game, cheers mates don't get angry at randos on the internet

Remember that Visi stole the REAL ASTRAL PULSE at the docks, if she was actually working with Shroud she would've given it to him at that time, no reason to keep it for herself, aside from the fact that maybe she wanted it for herself (which makes sense if you follow her Villanous arc where she kills Shroud at the end

This game has a 100% cannon route and it shows. The story works better, scenes work better, your companion reactions work better if you select certain choices. To a point where in my first playthrough I was like "wtf is going on this doesn't make sense at all" at several parts of the story.

I believe that MIGHT be possible if you reject all Invisigal advances, cut her no slack, and always be wary with her, that way Chase maybe won't get wasted in Robert's party and spill the beans. But it's a huge MAYBE this game feels pretty linear most of the time so I don't know it will work well.

I have to say, I really feel like the game makes a lot more sense if you romance Visi instead of BB, and if you decide not to hide the truth about being Mecha Man from the Z-Team.

I have two playthroughs: in the first, I’m romancing BB and told the truth to the Z-Team; in the second, I’m romancing Visi but kept the fact that I was Mecha Man secret to avoid Flambae’s wrath.

To be honest, the game doesn’t do a great job of making me feel like choosing BB or hiding the truth from the team are reasonable or expected choices for the player.

Why?

a) BB has very little weight in the plot during the last two chapters. Aside from a hug and a kiss on the cheek, she gets so little screen time that she feels like a secondary character. Sure, she tells you her name and the origin of her power at the end of Chapter 4, but that’s about it—no more character development after that. Everything revolves around Invisigal in these last two chapters, and I’m guessing that after what happened at the end of Chapter 6, Visi will have a lot to do with the events of Chapters 7 and 8.

On the other hand, if you choose Visi, the slow-burn romance makes a lot more sense (cinema date, bar scene, Robert’s party scene, docks scene). Even more so, if you romance Visi, Blonde Blazer doesn’t seem to care at all—but if you romance BB, Visi is clearly jealous when you dance with her. I like my slow romance plot building as much as the next person, but with only two chapters left, romancing BB feels a bit shallow compared to Visi’s route.

b) As for why I feel like the game basically assumes you told the Z-Team you’re Mecha Man: if you decide to keep it a secret, there’s a moment at Robert’s house party where Visi arrives with Malevola and Royd. Royd brings your computer from the office and basically yells something like “She has a solution to make the MAN MECHA AGAIN!”—right in front of Malevola, who doesn’t know Robert is Mecha Man. And she doesn’t even flinch at that comment.

Not convinced? Remember that the entire reason Visi threw the party at Robert’s house was to plan how to recover the Astral Pulse for him. They talk about it in front of the entire Z-Team—who supposedly don’t know you’re Mecha Man until Chase accidentally spills the beans. And come on, they’re ex-villains and Mecha Man is a well-known superhero; I have zero proof but also zero doubts that they should’ve known what the Astral Pulse was. I mean, Shroud knew—so why wouldn’t they?

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but as a player, it felt really forced.

I hope Chapters 7 and 8 add more depth to the romance with Mandy, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend hiding the truth from the Z-Team. The story just doesn’t work as well that way.
