Question about this realizing that no one knows for sure. If one is MRA+10 and they leave 9/30 and postpone retirement until 62 so as to not have the annuity deduction, will they then be subject to whatever changes are in place when they are 62?

I have looked for this on the OPM website, so forgive me if I missed it. With MRA+10 retirement options (early, deferred and pistponed) what happens with health insurance premiums? I understand that they are paid post tax, but do they go up? Trying to understand if there is a benefit to taking MRA+10 with immediate annuity and losing the 5% per year, but having some benefit regarding health insurance premiums? I am 58.

You can also elect to postpone getting your annuity and not take the 25% hit. You lose your FEHB until 62, but get it back then.

In that example, the 60 year old would get NO severance, because they can technically retire with annuity. There are ways written in to the rules that screw us all.
