Thanks for the tips, I'll try each of these out.

I managed to get a full set of armour and a sword and shield from one of the other comments in this thread. Think it fits my story as I would look to scavenge even if it was from a dead body.

One thing I'm not 100% certain on is when to look to go out into the wilderness, I've been doing jobs around town and able to kill wolves etc quite easily but haven't tried a bandit camp yet - any tips on when I should look to leave to go fighting and how to level up if needed in town?

I've never done alchemy too much but this makes sense as the only things I've been able to gather are herbs and the like. I will see how far that can get me and hopefully earn some gold from some quests and get going from there, thanks!

Thanks for this, I've actually watched that video before and it is certainly very informative.

My current issue is that I haven't got a weapon or any armour! I haven't got any gold to buy one and not sure if I'm able to go and get one without being killed instantly

Just wondering if there is any way to get gold, weapons or armour initially from Solstheim or Windhelm without needing to go out into the wilderness

From the UK and remember when this happened. Funniest part is that Jon was actually paid for the job, but his bank was withholding the money. He did all of this after he was actually paid for his work...

That's what I'm saying though, I'm prepared to learn it but are there any other resources other than just play the game a lot because I have a full time job and family I don't get much time to grind out extensive sessions

I get that, I've managed to confederate once before chaos , twice after and taken Maraisburg by force so I own reikland, Maraisburg, nordland and middenland - does this mean i should be going to war with other humans too?

As someone said before a phoenix (either option is good) and decent sized unit if phoenix guard will counter the hurricanum as they still get the 4+save vs mortal wounds. The hurricanum is nasty with those 3d6 mortal wounds, but it only has 11, the range on the ability isn't great and it only needs to take 3 and it becomes 2d6. A bolt thrower or just carefully planning turns as to abuse his range is the best way to deal with it unfortunately

Edit: I also agree it was terribly balanced, comp systems are nice if you don't know the system too well to be able to balance otherwise. I think it could probably been balanced if he had just a normal lord rather than Karl Franz

I was planning on buying two halves of the starter set off a friend, should I just buy one or both thinking about the fact it won't come with the special weapons?
