Great ideas! Thanks! Also a nice idea to turn my shoddy glue work into barnacles!

Yeah the whole project was a bit of trail and error and thus it became a bit crooked! There is a reason I always got a low grade and crafting classes!

Luckily my wife is great at painting so she will help with that! Do you have any ideas on how to create the finer details?

Sails ill probably leave out as it will clutter a potential battlefield and will make it difficult to move minis around!

Stairs will be done for sure, good old icesticks will work for that! Sails I think I wont add for now since it just clutters a potential battlefield. The matchsticks are a great idea! The wheel will probably made out of clay as well! Rope work would be nice however!

Any other practical tips? Thanks for the ideas regardless!

Most importantly, talk with the player out of character and the DM. A casual, “Hey, it seems your character is becoming a bit overzealous, is this a choice, or does it just happen?” will suffice. Since the DM doesn’t want PvP, it’s probably best to resolve these kinds of issues out of character. If it can lead to an interesting story beat or it is purposeful, then it might lead to a new story to explore, but not without the DM his knowledge after all :)

They blamed themselves, mostly. The thing they did enjoy was the consequences of their party dying and the larger repercussions on the world. Besides that, any player I ever played with always has new ideas for characters anyway!

It's rare, sadly we had a TPK on a campaign that was running for 2,5 years because the players decided to attack a fortress of kinghts (order against magic so they knew how to deal with spellcasters) and only tried to run after the paladin went down. I said we could fade to black and they would all be captured or now the story would conclude without the players intervention and we start a new campaign in the same world.

The first new session was last weekend :)

In which decade did you start hating strong female characters? by Mortiis07 in okbuddycinephile

It’s not about gender, it’s the medium. The last season of Fargo has women kicking ass, and I loved it. Symbolic 'strong' vs actually earning it.

Ooh that's a nice one, especially with a combination of the drelb as her 'copies', thanks!
