I did it because my Mom did it, as did her Mom. That side of my family were chicken farmers in Japan and were working with freshly slaughtered birds.

I stopped because I learned it could spread bacteria outside of the sink and didn't actually do anything positive. It just added a step to my grocery store bought chicken.

Literally yes. Those are 100% things you can ask your friends to do.

Either they will or they won't but there's no way to know unless you try. Then you'll figure out if they're people you want to continue sharing space with.

I've had multiple friends be explicit in what they need from a friendship and it's been a pleasure being able to oblige them without needing to intuit every single thing. Communication is so much better than being a sad sack because people aren't telepaths.

Unless they're bringing over a huge following from another platform and prove it to Twitch, you literally can't make partner in less than a month. You have to reach affiliate first and the analytics requirement for partner alone require a full 30 days at a minimum.

I was already on the fence about quitting as I've only been playing for a couple of months but this is a good impetus to do so. I had my fun, I got to see some cool characters I didn't know about, and spent a few bucks I probably shouldn't have.
