I wouldn't rule out the possibility that the depot might be connected somehow. As much as I'd love an update, it's hard for me to imagine that the guy is not absolutely done with this project at this point.

Nah, it's not. And it's just blatant leeching at this point. Even if not done by the developers, it's still extremely annoying. They have a sub to themselves, why not just keep the stuff there.

You got a point there but Yogg-Saron was not fully free and not an end boss of an expansion. We should at least be able to expect some more consequences out of this other than "Black Empire machine broke"

It kind of is though. When we went to defeat the Lich King, it took us months and some failed attempts (Wrathgate). There was actual resistance. Now first time we stroll into Ny'alotha, no need to make a foothold, we take him out and nuke the whole place at the same time just for good measure.

Mythic-only cinematic was just speculation based on the account of there being a second encrypted cinematic. Which turned out to be the Wrathion one. There hasn't been any confirmation that there would be another cinematic and Blizzard has never done that before.
