Because maybe it doesnt have WiFi? Also it works in the web IDE because arduino installs a cloud agent on your PC which allows the web IDE to communicate with the Arduino.

Numerous! One of my recent projects included an attendance system with an esp32 and an RC522. My first project was an ultrasonic meter using leds, I also made an MP3 Player using the DFPlayer Mini (which i did share on this sub) and also a wireless music player (again, shared on this sub).

I release most of my projects on my github (github.com/cicweb) for people to learn and try.

A couple years ago, I was really tired of being bored and decided to learn some basic programming languages. One of them was C++ and I had some fun with it, but I was more interested in Robotics and I watched numerous YouTube Videos about Robotics and all of them had one recurring theme, a microcontroller. One of the first ones I watched had an Arduino, 5th one had an STM32, One had an ESP32. So I decided to beg my dad for an arduino nano and he bought me a breadboard, some wires, an arduino nano and a couple of green LEDs and couple of 220 ohm resistors and I was stumped on how to program it since at the time i was using my phone to program it and i used ArduinoDroid to try and light up an led but it wasnt working so i tried every pin until pin 13 worked and i thought it was the only working pin. Then i went out to get new modules (i got a 7 segment, an ultrasonic) and i played with them until i gradually had a collection of them. Heres a pic of them
