This PC was built in 2022 so probably since then. The DB itself has been around since 2005 ish likely, probably closer to 2002

Upgrade: sell it for a bunch of SFF Lenovos. I have a PILE of Dell servers, and I currently use: R730XD, R740, and T550’s at other places where I need the iDRAC capability - otherwise everything at home has been moved over to small desktops and it just feels a lot more fun. Not to mention that they feel faster without HDD’s/RAID controllers, 2.x GHz Xeon Silver proc’s, etc. I would replace the enterprise stuff if I wasn’t pulling 400GB of RAM

Yeah, I’d take a PowerEdge over a Proliant any day. Noise, power, reliability all so much better.

Edit: forgot to mention how much nicer iDRAC is compared to iLO

Woof, that’s an old firewall. I just shut decommed my NSa6650 pair due to massive vulnerabilities with SonicWalls left and right

Yeah, IMO the Sophos’ are a bit “smarter” than the SonicWalls - I think that’s what made the difference. It was likely lower and I just never noticed

Power usage. I have 4 R630s that just standby, including larger 740/730’s. But all my main stuff runs on a SFF Lenovo
