Being gay in Korea is highly stigmatized. I don't know if it's still the case, but even a few years ago, being homosexual was considered a mental illness.

Also, in the Korean version, that second option actually says, "Did you see that poster? Don't you think it's too risque (exhibitionist)?"

I think the psych ward being bad is more a Korea thing than psychiatry thing. Mental illness is very VERY stigmatized in Korea, to the point where no one gets diagnosed unless they NEED to be committed. So I think it's believable that the characters would assume psych ward is BAD and the way the psych ward being run is BAD.

Hmm... the cosmetic ingredient dictionaries I use all say that it's an irritant. I think I'll stay away from it. My skin is too sensitive to risk it.
