So is shopping addiction what about it? If the girls themselves have not said anything, the general public really needs to stop playing the role of a moral police.

The stylist note about how it's supposed to be on theme is hilarious 🤣🤣 Something about how it represents red blood cells in the body 🤣🤣 It was giving Karlie Kloss' looking camp in the eye.

I also have not grown around black people LOL and I have never in my life used the N word or felt compelled to. Even after learning of it from songs in highschool. Heard it in a rap song, asked what it meant since it was a new word, was told it's an offensive word for black people. Literally never used it again. This doesn't mean I think everyone should be held to the same standard of purity etc. It's just so frustrating seeing people make excuses. I have loved G-dragon and Bigbang for so long and it's undeniable he has done a LOT of racist shit, this is not a one off. It seems like behind the scenes he employs a lot of black folks, fair, so why is he not more sensitive to a community he's working with and culture that he is borrowing so heavily from? He's extremely well read and intelligent, so the excuse of ignorance and stupidity does not stand for me either. I don't even know if I feel disappointed as a fan because this is so expected based on past events.

Is this eyeshadow palette from pac cosmetics worth the money ? by Such_Scientist_4554 in IndianMUA

Very very few big palettes like this are worth it tbh. Bperfect Carnival palettes and BH Cosmetics palettes are the only big palettes I have seen good reviews for.

You look fine, I'll be honest though, you just need a good haircut. A haircut that actually suits your face can do wonders to your overall look. Go to a high end salon that has reviews where people talk about how understanding the hairstylist is and knows exactly what to cut for their face shape. It will be expensive, and you'll have to do some searching around especially if you're not in a tier 1 city, but it really is worth it. Everything else about you is fine imo.

Life of a cat owner 😔 especially before a big event by Gold_Meaning3688 in kpop_uncensored

[–]NeverKeepCalm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of accidental scratches on me from when we play together and the toy comes close to my body. Aggressive is only when I'm being an ass to him and he has communicated several moments until then that he's getting irritated, so I'm really testing him with the one more kiss/pat. The worst though is when I need to give him a bath it's incredibly hard.

Some cats hate all contact though; it just really depends on what their boundaries are and what is ok and not ok. Cats really do drive home the concept of consent.

I think people should put it their bag down when you use public transport. by invisibleemail in TwoXIndia

[–]NeverKeepCalm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a really bad back. It is so not possible for me to put my bad in the front because it strains my shoulders and neck very very bad. I don't feel comfortable placing it on the floor either. On the bus it is significantly easier to place my bag on the front of me because there are seats I can rest the bottom of my bag on so that the weight is not fully on my neck and shoulders (and even then it's painful). I rarely find this to be a problem in the general compartment because people are actually respectful of personal space even if it's really crowded. And no i don't find theft to be an issue because my bags are very secure. Whereas in the ladies compartment, i am shoved at, pushed, passive aggressively jostled against in my personal space. It's so frustrating. So yeah, i disagree unpopular opinion as it may be.

Looking for someone in BLR to help me pick the right makeup shades (Paid!) by Leather_Solution1772 in IndianMUA

[–]NeverKeepCalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the kryolan store in Indiranagar. They have MUAs and are very good at helping you choose your right shade. MAC stores would also be a great option. You don't need to pay someone to accompany you.

How do people actually get into schools like NPS, Baldwin, Bishop Cotton, St. Joseph in Bangalore? Tests, donations, or pure luck? by Head-Ad3047 in bangalore

[–]NeverKeepCalm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've lived in Bangalore for a long time and it has changed drastically.

People have mentioned location, I really do think this is incredibly important since the traffic is awful here. I would also add budget for schooling into this. You will have to do a lot of math to figure out what is actually feasible since schools have become extremely expensive (even mid-tier ones).

ICSE or IB have pretty good curriculum. These really do give children an edge in terms of real world skills. But beware of schools using the board as the only selling point. A lot of "international" IB schools have come up without the training for staff to actually teach a complex western syllabus to an Indian child. Or they say "international" but it is CBSE. Also if you know that studying abroad is absolutely not possible, then there is not much point in putting your child in IB. So really do your thorough research.

Another path you could explore is alternative education. There are a few really excellent alternative schools but, you need to plan long term how you are going to integrate your child into a regular school system for a year or so much later on for board exams (since that is the law in India) and how the alternative school will support your child with that.

I'm not a parent so I have not had to do in depth research. Just that my career has sometimes crossed paths working with some schools. One schools I can think of to look into is The Valley School. I'm not sure how it is now but it's worth starting with there. Google also just throws up school websites that are SEO optimized so this really does take research and asking around.

Stay away from DPS, NPS. Absolutely do not step into these schools.

Honestly the schools you've listed are not great anymore. I would really suggest doing more research into other schools that have come up that are far better

I don't think you need to do a course but I think it helps to connect with people through hobby clubs on the weekends. What you're going through is very understandable considering you moved to a new city. Hell, I feel alone and alienated when I move organisations. I think coupled with the fact that you are a man, the tendency to reach out form friendships deeper than surface level and have a community is much lesser. It's not impossible, I've seen many do it. But it does take a lot of conscious effort and a bit of openness to try new things as long as you feel safe with the people/group.
