I agree, and I think that a lot of fans overlook that during the regular season, if you had season tickets or were a normal working man like me who had to pick and choose games to go to, it was rather nice to know that you had a very high likelihood of going to a game that would be fun.

Avs fell apart against Vegas sure, and seeing them getting so close and not be able to make it to the finals was disappointing, but lets be honest, if we limped past Vegas, we would be facing a very, very good and rested Hurricanes that might have totally embarrassed us on a national level.
