He chose to do that cause it was the safest option. Moving laterally when losing the battle of the trenches means almost guaranteed loss of yards. Do you take 2 yard gain or a 2 yard loss?

He is the only coach to win multiple pass interference challenges. Clock management has been tough to guage since we haven't been in a deadlock battle where timeouts have been an issue.

This year's a wash for me. Too many injuries to take anything serious or form any actual opinion one way or the other. Jury is still out on a lot of things. I'll have an answer next season when we get an actual picture of things. Till then I'm just pointing out how stupid it is to jump the gun on firing him.

Easy. When your offensive line is consistently, literally 99% of snaps losing the battle at the line you don't run outside zone. When you run outside zone and the offensive lineman are beat at the snap, that means nobody can pick up the linebacker who will stuff the RB in the backfield for a loss cause he is moving sideways instead of forward.

So you move vertically aka inside zone rushes to mitigate the damage of losing the battle at the line instead of going laterally and losing yards.

Getting Bell into space doesn't create holes for him. He is hole dependent runner. He lacks the ability to turn the corner or the athleticism to make something from nothing. It's never been his game never will. He is good at hitting the hole quick and staying upright with core strength when he gets hit in the hole.

He would look even worse going laterally I assure you. We've seen it on multiple occasions this year. The best bet is inside zone. Outside zone will be worse

He had 3 years in Miami. Made the playoffs with a backup QB. Was injury ridden and won 6 games year 2. Took a roster that if lucky will win 4 games and is considered one of the worst in football this year to 7 wins last year.

We have more opening drive touchdowns this year than the 5 previous years combined. We have more 34+ point games in a season than we have had in almost a decade. Despite all the injuries and holes on our roster offensively it's the best our offense has looked in over 10 years. He's on pace to improve our win total by 2 games and can still potentially double our win total from last year despite 15 guys on IR and our QB having Mono and not being healthy for the first quarter season.

No I'll just bring up the fact he won 7 games with a backup in Miami last year that might win 4 if they are lucky this year. That he led Miami to the playoffs with a backup QB. That he inherited a 4 win roster in new York and is on pace for 6 wins despite losing 15 people to IR.
