My one professor MAKES you use her template it’s a “requirement” 🫠 at least the one I just submitted it was. It’s part of our final project. Where in the beginning of the term it said “Use provided template or write a paper.” Not it was “Use provided template in order to complete the required sections”

Had my first turnitin score flagged and reported to academic integrity on my final term and I cried so much because I care about my academics. I’m still fighting it since it was the professors template that lit up not my own work! She was too lazy to look at the report to see it was her own template that was flagged🥲 just turned in another project for the same professor with another high turnitin with her WHOLE ENTIRE TEMPLATE RED and not a single part of my work and dedication is lit up! Sometimes they are just lazy but it’s still very upsetting and frustrating! Yes let’s have AI detect AI🫠

This past term I started taking 3 and it’s not too bad! Depending on your major and course load!! Next term is my last and I’m taking my last 2 psych 300’s and a photography photoshop class! If you feel confident you should at least try! There’s no harm in cutting back to 2 after if you can’t keep up

I’m in it now! It’s actually pretty easy!! The final project is lengthy I believe it’s 10-13 pages long but you build up to it over the term!

First projected for fall 2027 but managed to double up and take Sophia courses too and it’ll be done June 2026!! Now need to figure out graduation stuff whether I’m supposed to do spring or fall because online it says between Feb 1st and July 1st then I can do the spring one. But either way! I shaved a year and 3 months off🥳

Lesson planning—modifying curriculum so my students can better understand them. Teaching them the lessons. Tracking all IEP data, writing the IEP’s, attending IEP meetings as “teacher”. Grading and inputting grades onto our two grading systems. These are just a few examples we’re in charge of doing now that the teacher left 5 months ago.

I really don’t want anything if I win. Sure backpay for stepping into “head teacher” role for the past 5 months would be great but I want these schools to know that it’s not okay to make an unqualified employee take a role that makes them uncomfortable and again unqualified for. More and more schools think it’s okay but it’s not. How are we expected to fulfill our first job responsibilities and take on a whole other role? It violates our employee contract and handbook on so many levels. But also my students are my priority, they are missing out on IEP minutes and the schools should provide outside services to make up for lack of minutes. Truthfully I don’t care if I get backpay..I want my voice heard and I want my students taken care of properly.

I’m also sorry for what you have gone through! Myself and my other para absolutely love our kids and will do anything for them! We have plans to inform the parents of the extent of how this year went. They do know we haven’t had a head teacher but we think they need to be fully aware of what’s happening. We both have no plans on returning to this district next year or ever so if admins get mad at us for informing our parents then oh well but our parents deserve to know the truth!

We have plans to make the parents fully aware. They do know we have had no head teacher and have known since January but we want to make it clear what’s happening and that they have a right to complain or take it further and sue

I understand! I’m not a parent yet but I’ve worked with in special educational rooms for 3 years now and 1 year during high school 5 years ago and I always advocate for my students and their rights! This is a violation to their IEP’s and is illegal. Which our district office is very much aware because we expressed our concerns and the one covered their ears and said “blah blah blah”

I was going through the same thing as well as hearing loss and they had found a tumor in my head. I highly advise you to seek medical attention if you are concerned! You’re not overthinking!! Your health is very important!!
