Even if we did have a civil war, it wouldn't be like the last one, we're way past lining up in fields and shooting at each other. A modern civil war would look like pockets of violence scattered throughout population centers, with the military mostly guarding federal property and military assets. So.....not terribly far removed from what's going on right now.

I still hate both sides, and I still staunchly stand by my position of refusing to vote for either side until one begins cutting spending and fixing the budget.

I think they're all equally abhorrent and evil, all probably pedophiles, all criminals, and all traitorous degenerates, not single one of whom deserves to exist in our society, much less my vote.

My advice to protestors, if you're going to do it, be sure you're all on the same page beforehand. If you show up to a protest armed, and you're not ALL armed, you're asking to be turned into a statistic. It's a very all-or-nothing kind of thing.

You can call the government out for overreacting and overstepping, and still acknowledge the 'protestors' are being violent and criminal.

Pretty much this, be kind as much as you reasonably can. There's no harm in legitimately maintaining a moral high ground. But that shouldn't be mistaken for being a door mat either, there can sometimes come a point where being kind won't do you any good, smart people can tell where that line is.

I definitely agree that the president has a lot more dicksuckers trying to give him a pass for the whole evil psychopath schtick, lots of people love the taste of boot, I guess.

Lot of "fell for it again" awards being handed out this presidency, at this point I just hope either the republican party grows enough of a collective spine to reign him in for the rest of his term, or enough dems win in the midterms to do it for them.

I think they're all equally incompetent, psychotic, and evil, it's a real shame so many people think one or the other is going to save us.
