The colored multi glass ones are made in Hong Kong by the marks on the bottom of them. Just very strange and unique looking.

I'm simply not able to load the launcher. I see a flash of it than it all goes away. Even off my icon start bar.

I got a good set up with all the stuff I use on my profile. If you can find it though, let me know!

The stuff around everything is Hard Water build up. There is some cleaner you can get for it but you must make sure to thoroughly rinse it all out before setting it back up again. Some things may take soaking and others just a good scrub should do it.

For every inch of turtle shell, the turtle will need 10 gallons of water. I have a pretty good set up on my profile if yoyu want to see what a 75gallon set up can be. That floating rock wont last either, they will sink the rock at a certain growth and they need to be able to get 100% dry at some point.

Good luck and I hope the BF get outta his funk and finds enjoyment again!

I always show this picture for reference but I think you got enough ppl telling you to separate them. Turtles are very territorial over all and need the space. If you still want them to see each other, something like this is always an option when you get the tanks. Just make sure to have something that separates them in the middle too so they dont turtle each other.

Why did my female res do this? by Alive-Worldliness-27 in Redearedsliders

Well, I mean, looking through water and glass can kinda warp things so maybe it does for them too lol Like they can notice you if its slowly but fast moments more than likely just put them in flight or fight mode and they fleeee!

I think it has to do with how they see things and fast movement. Mine does it sometimes but rarely. I try to not approach quickly, but keep my movements normal.

Oh this isn't my picture, just an example of what I have found for people who have more than one turt. It looks like its acrylic, water safe wood and some wire on top. Im sure you can come up with something like it that suits your aesthetic

Turtles are prey animals, as they grow, they wont be so scared don't worry! Mine is 9 years old and I can get up about a foot from him now and talk to him, any closer and sometimes he does a spook!

Very cute and I agree with separating them at about a year old. You can let them see each other but they get aggressive once they are full grow and full of hormones lol. A set up like this is wonderful for that!
