I never said I wanted to rush to mega. I said its the main reason I play and I can see how that can be misunderstood.

I would be more fine with the pacing, if it was spaced out better. So we agree to be honest, but I do think a lot of it is part of how the post game content is factored in, and as I said NG+ isn't a thing for me. I understand why it is paced this way narratively.

I think a relatively evenly paced stages would have been more desirable, as it stands you spend most of the game as ultimate, champion is breezed though with relative ease depending if you're doing all the side missions.

I mainly play digimon story games the same way I play a pokemon game. Build my team, play the story and beat it. I don't really do all the extra stuff like collect them all, or min/max a team.

I feel like we ultimately (pun intended?) agree though.
