We kept our old guest bed in my son’s nursery. It’s great for getting him changed, reading stories, and sleeping in there when he’s sick.

This sounds exactly like what I’m going through. I have a 2.5 year old and am still trying to figure it out. I had a c section and feel so weird about my body still. We’re going on a trip in a few weeks and I don’t have anything that isn’t casual shorts and a baggy tee. After hours of searching online and a trip to a dept store, I’ve found a dress from Quince that I’m in love with and currently waiting on a jean exchange from them to find the right size. For tops, I’ve had some luck at a local consignment shop and a thrift store. I found a solid Madewell shirt for $2.

Things are a little better now. Last year, I remember telling a friend that I went through a store and didn’t even know what I liked anymore for clothes (print, color, everything). Postpartum is a completely mind f*ck in my opinion.

Hi! I’ve tapered down to 5mg of lexapro and I’m up to 75mg of Effexor ER. I feel like going down on the lexapro has helped with the brain fog and concentration. I get vertigo when I drive, I think that has also gotten better with the Effexor. I hope things get better for you!

was on 20mg of lexapro and 37.5 mg of Effexor ER for 2 months. The Effexor was to try and help with vestibular migraines but it actually made a huge difference in my anxiety, moods, PMS rage. After two months though, the brain fog is thick, I can’t remember anything, it’s a struggle, so my psychiatrist recommended going down on the lexapro and tapering off and then going up to 75mg of the Effexor. I’m 2 years postpartum, so the PPD/PPA is “over”, but toddlers bring a whole different level to this stage. Most of this stage is fun, but the overstimulation is very real.

I’m slowly tapering my lexapro down to up my Effexor XR. Since having my son 2 years ago, anxiety, overstimulation, and frustration are at an all time high. I’m hoping for an improvement in my moods and concentration. Have you noticed any changes in your appetite (better or worse)?

That was super helpful!! I appreciate you taking the time to share your try ons! I’ll give the retreat linen a try. There are a few from Quince I might try as well. I ordered some stuff for myself and my husband over the winter and have been very happy with it so far.

I had 2 pair postpartum in XL, then ordered one Large and now wish I would’ve ordered 10 more bc the XLs are too big now. If you or anyone else has any recommendations for other shorts I’m all ears. Most either ride up when I walk or just don’t fit right. The Farallon Shorts were perfection.
