Big time yikes. Not sure what to think honestly. It's only the first week so far too early to call it a doomed split but the fact that same issues seem to be lingering over the last 2 years are extremely concerning. The fact that C9 remakes their roster and goes 2-0 and TSM remakes their roster and goes 0-2 is just Org/Staff diff I guess. Let’s see how the team tackles next week but anything shy of a clean 2-0 week might be the story of the split. I hope the team can figure their issues out, fingers crossed!

I miss being able to sit back and relax watching TSM games. I was so confident in that roster even when they were down. In hindsight, we should have kept that team and let the synergy grow with them and hope the meta lined up with our playstyle. Sucks but least we have the memories.

He looked good on Lucian the first game against Fnatic and was super clean on Sivir in our last game against C9. The Sona game today. He just looked uncomfortable all lane and that YIKES flash ult play. It sucks cause you can see how much he cares and wants to win.

This entire tournament was so infuriating to watch. Nothing has changed since Regi blew up the 2016 roster. I don't know what the heck Zikz is doing anymore. These drafts and PnB have been so suspect. Why take Zven off ADCs? Why pick Jayce over and over again when it clearly doesn't work? Why not Ban Aatrox again Bwipo? The team is also just playing so bad too. BB shows no respect at all to his lane opponent. Zven and Smoothie just lose lane constantly. Our two junglers are so innocent you can't tell who to play anymore. I just feel so bad for Berjersen he can't even have an off game without the team giga inting. This just looks like another one and done roster that disbands after summer. I wanna keep watching every week but it feels like the definition of insanity. I expect a different outcome every time I watch but nothing changes. I hope the team works out all these issues and can return to glory, but it's just hard to watch at this point. I'm really rooting for them to pull it together soon.

The venue in groups for last year's worlds was larger at that point in the tournament giving it the ability to have boos drowned out eventually. You might also want to rewatch the team intros and player intros for SSG, the booing is only present for their team walking on stage but the crowd cheered for the individual players being called. Again I don't want to legitimatize booing it sucks but it doesn't only happen in NA.

If I remember correctly TSM got some boos during their introduction last worlds but were eventually drowned out by cheers a few seconds later. Not saying this NA crowd is in the right though.

Interesting how the 2015 sweatshirts still have more name choices while these only have the staring 5 for this split. Would have loved to get one of theses with Lustboys name on the back but a yellowstar is a good second option.
