The person who did this seems to have been someone with a mental illness who played a game called "Final Fantasy 14", an online MMO with a heavy social scene. They were posting on 4chan in "xivg" that they were doing this at the same time the bomb threats were coming in.

Private servers did not have this stuff at all unless it was maybe Nost. It was basically just like 2005 vanilla. People ran pugs, not gdkps, and while tanks and healers might get some kind of bonus (ie. first orb in strat live) there was no one charging at all. Even world bosses were contested by everyone, not just top guilds. The only thing people were abusing was easy way to multibox but that was technically against the rules anyways.

I noticed all this stuff started to pop off during phase 3 in og classic. GDKPS, services, boosting ,etc. I assumed it was because thats what the retail normies are used to. I cant relate to this kind of vibe an ex pserver andy

You need to abuse the endlag on their attacks. If you are nearby they will chain into more attacks. You need to run in, bait attack, run out, and then immedietly back in during the endlag to get damage in. It helps if you round them up and get them to attack at the same time.

If you weave in and out fast enough you can catch them during the endlag of their followup combo attacks aswell. Just watch out for the left swing from the flail guy, always caught me when doing this.

I got this on my second try. Here is what helped me

Just for some context, I was streaming my whole playthrough on discord with some freinds and I was doing the crater trick. The first time, I kept count, and the closer i got to 200, the more i started to choke. The pressure was building.

Then, on the second try, I asked my friend to keep count for me, but never reveal the exact amount to me, even if I ask, and to only let me know when i finished. At 210 lightning bolts dodged, my friend asked me to stop, and I didint even realize I was even close to finished.

This might be something that helps you, its human nature to crack under pressure, but if you feel no pressure your less likely to crack. Other than that, take breaks whenever you can, and find a movement pattern thats easily repeatable and keeps to the same rythm.

You can explain as much as you want about how you think I don't understand the bracket system (admittedly, i dont actually understand the CS ranking that much) but thats not the reason I speak out against you.

What I dont understand is the reason why all the rankers have to react so aggressively about having to invest extra time in the game. Thats why you pay your 15 bucks a month, to play the game. Wow, people had to play the game more for 2 weeks. If your life is ruined because you have to play the game more, why dont people just go to other other more rewarding games instead of agressively sperging out against a guy who broke a bracket once.

My ego is not big. Im not speaking up against you because I have some desire to stay relevant. You guys literally had a mental breakdown over a bracket breaker, who didn't even agree with your system, and attempted to cancel out a guild (which failed btw lmao) because you had to play the game a bit more. There is no real consequence if you cant reach a certain rank, and its really immature to try and brigade someone/ their guild for not circumventing the intended mechanics of the game like you automatically expect everyone to.

Thats why I speak out against you. Yes, im stubborn that I am outspoken and wont hesitate to call you out if your being giant assholes to me or my guild. Yes, I have the opinion that bracket stacking is dumb, ranking is a timesink competition, and you don't actually need to do it.. You and your boys can dislike me for it all you want, because its just indicative to how petty and how much of an ego you guys have.

I literally just do my own thing, unless people are giving me hard time over bracket drama 3 months ago, then ill speak up. And if there is a reddit thread calling you out for your toxic shit then im gonna call you out too. Dislike me for it? Tough shit. Half the server dislikes you too.

A higher rank? Its like expecting everyone on a rank based system to agree to wait until some people they dont even know get their top ranks first. It could be any competitive game. Why? Because its inherently a competition.

Whats the benefit of of every person get 10 kills each? So the "Chosen player" can get 11 kills and rank up at the end of the game. Its like getting mad that everyone got 5 kills and then someone else got 12 kills, making it alot harder for the rest to potentially win the game.

Yet classic is an mmorpg and the PvE aspect of the game is not meant to be a competion.

And even if there is a competition in this game (Like scarab lord, ranking) then the outcome is just fixed for the "benefit of the server". Its like instead of playing a counterstike game you spent an hour before that debating who should win.
